The Mr. is 4!!!
On November 3rd Eric turned 4! Four years old!!! Wasn't it just yesterday that we brought him home in his over sized pants and onesie because we didn't know any better as first time parents! And now he's 4! So full of love for life and carries a personality that's much bigger than his ripe ole age!
Here's a little about Eric at the age of 4!
TRUCKS!
The boy still LOVES his trucks!!! Whether they are Big...

Medium...

or Small...

Construction or Firetruck...it doesn't matter! He loves them all!!! As far as his line of trucks goes, he still loves his trucks, but the formation of a line doesn't play nearly as high of a role any more. :)

THE AQUARIUM!!!
We are not even through the first week of March yet (Yes, I am still posting in order and we are currently in November! But I'm getting there!!!) and the aquarium is pretty much paying us to go at this point, that's how many times we've used our yearly pass so far this year!
Eric and Sara both LOVE to go there! Eric, in particular, is especially fascinated with sea creatures! Especially...Sharks!!!

These are Eric's friends that he like to swim around the house! Though, they mostly live in a pile just like this on his bed since he likes to sleep next to them! Including the book! Because of that book, Eric is now really into what Sharks and other animals like to eat, since that's some of the information he learned in the book!

ERIC, THE EXPLORER!!!
It's not too often you see Eric walking with his head held high. He is always exploring the world around him! Keeping his eyes out for something new to explore! Like this hidden trail way he found!

RISE AND SHINE!!!
Now that Eric is a big boy, he no longer calls for us when he wakes up. Each morning, you hear his little footsteps around the house, keeping himself entertained until the rest of the crew is ready to rise and shine!
His morning goes a bit like this (which is the cutest thing to listen to) He first checks out his window to see if it's still dark outside, if not, out of bed he goes! Next, he climbs up the stool or onto his rocking horse to reach his cloths in order to dress himself. He then walks over to the front door and looks out the shutters to see what the weathers like, and then you will hear him play or watch a movie on the iPad.
On this particular morning, the sun rise was too beautiful for him to continue on without showing someone. I woke to him inches from my face as he said, "Mama, you want to see the clouds!?! They are beautiful!" So I crawled out of bed, and enjoyed the beautiful morning clouds with him! I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my day!

PUZZLES!!!
The boy is the Puzzle Master! The days of guiding him along are over! Especially on a puzzle his previously done. He's mastered the concept and loves to figure them out! (The blue shark that looks like jaws is way too advanced for him, as it was for Mommy and Daddy! Hahaha! So that one was done by us...very slowly!)

FAMILY!!!
His best friends in life!

RIDING HIS BIKE!!!
It's crazy to think how foreign his bike was to him when he got it on his 3rd birthday. To now, a year later, as he's whipping around corners, stopping on a dime, and racing full speed ahead on it!
He especially loves when we are out riding bikes and the older kids are riding home from school! He feels like such a big boy riding with them!

ALPHABET!!!
Lately he's shown tons of interest in knowing how words are spelled and what sounds letters make! And he's especially interested in writing those letters! This was his first time writing his name in sidewalk chalk a couple months ago!

This Valentines Day was the first card I've ever received that had my name written on it! I loved it!!! I also loved the fact that Daddy let him pick everything out himself! It showed when the outside of my card was Buzz Lightyear, and the inside said, "Happy Valentines Day Grandson!" Hahaha!

He even enjoys making letters with his spaghetti at dinner!

DRAWING!!!
What can we say about Eric and his smiley faces! Not much other then, they are our absolute favorite things ever!!! Each once has such character! Each expression is different! And each one absolutely cracks us up!!!

Yes, including this gem! "Mama, close your eyes. I have a surprise for you! Keep them closed, keep them closed. Ok, open!!! Look, I drew YOU!!!"
Gosh we love this kid!!! Happy 4th Birthday Eric!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
