Q. What would you like to do for your birthday?
A. Head to an amusement park!
With a response like that, you'd think we asked Eric or Sara that question, but in fact, we asked Grampa!!! Not only were the kids excited that was his answer, but us adults were too!
We got to ride lots and lots of rides, even ones we didn't really fit on! :)
I have to say, I am so proud of Eric and Sara for getting on this Pirate ship! I have a picture of me as a kid (older than Eric and Sara and on a much bigger Pirate ship) and I was hysterically crying! But not these three, they enjoyed every second of it!!!
It was hard not to laugh hysterically while watching everyone go around on the train ride! Eric couldn't have been less enthused, while Sara was having the absolute time of her life!!! She'd give the cutest little wave every time she'd ride on by! Beyond adorable!
Something tells me this ride was more Eric's speed! And he had a great cheerleader cheering him and Grampa on!
As was this ride! He had so much fun raising his arms in the air like Daddy, and believe it or not, he actually kept them up in the air during the drop a couple times!
Towards the end of the day, we got a little taste of what their teenage years may be like! The Bean was trying to "talk" on the phone, while her older brother was busting her chops! Sounds about right! :)

Later that night we headed home to have some birthday cupcakes!!!

But before we called it a night, we decorated our very own Christmas ornaments and decorated the tree with them!!!
A perfect way to end a perfect day! Happy Birthday Grampa! We love you so so much!!!
