Saturday (Oct. 17) was a very special day! My great friend Halle (she's 1 week 4 days older than me) and I celebrated our 1st birthday together!!!

Mommy said I couldn't eat cake until after lunch...I didn't take the news very well!

I quickly got over it since there was so much fun to be had! Halle and I, and all our friends, even the smallest of them all, Jake and Teddy, went pumpkin picking! Ok, maybe they were a bit too small to participate, but the older kids sure made up for it!

Once everyone had their perfect pumpkin picked out, it was back inside to decorate them! What a creative little bunch we had! There were 3 styles to decorate your pumpkin in, yet, all 8 of them came out so different from one another! They all did such a great job!

My friend, Lucy, Halle and I were a bit too small to help out! But we had a great time watching and playing while they decorated! And yes, my crackers were very entertaining to watch as well :)

Afterward, we headed back outside for a pumpkin hunt! Everyone had so much fun running around trying to find the hidden pumpkins! However, my friends are better than Mommy thought! She kept some of the pumpkins out in the open thinking they needed a little help finding them. Little did Mommy know they spotted the candy filled pumpkins a mile away!

I was very excited to hear it was finally time for some cake! After every one sang us happy birthday, and we made our very first wish, it was time to dig in! And that I did! 50% of my cupcake was gone before Mommy/Daddy even realized it! Halle on the other hand, she was more thirsty than hungry!

Mommy and Daddy couldn't be more thankful to everyone for coming out and making my 1st Birthday a memorable one! Even though I wanted to be close to my Mommy the entire time, I had a great time with everyone! Thank you so much!
Once everyone headed home, I stayed around for a little longer and played with my friend Taryn! We had fun making smushy faces! But, to be honest, I think Mommy had more fun being on the other side of the glass laughing at our smushy faces!

We then put on our jackets...

and headed outside for some family photos!!!

And last but not lease, we had to end the party with saying goodbye to the monster balloons. Taryn had so much fun saying "Bye, bye Monster" and setting them free so they could go back to Monster Land. And I had tons of fun watching from the sidelines!

Thank you so much Auntie Ally and Uncle Nick, for letting us have the party at your place! And a special thanks to Taryn's Uncle Jim, for picking up all the pumpkins for my friends! Our original plan to pick pumpkins at a farm may have fell through due to the rain forecast, but you made it so much better by giving us our own personal farm to pick from!
Thanks again everyone!
