On Wednesday, (Sept. 16th-21th) we headed to Chicago! Mommy and Daddy's great friends, Dave and Jess, were getting married! Since my Uncle Paul had never been before, he was more than happy to fly all the way from Florida to watch me! And of course, to check out the city! And that, we did!
Welcome to Chicago!
This was my second time visiting Chicago! But the best part was, they were two completely different experiences. Both perfect in their own way!

One thing we definitely wanted to be sure to check out...The Bean! None of us really knew for sure where it was, but sure enough, we sat down to eat lunch, and it was right in front of us!
We had a great time taking pictures there! We even played a little, I spy Uncle Paul and Daddy in the second picture!

Afterward, Daddy and Uncle Paul went to watch a game at Wrigley Field! They had such a great time! And loved the fact that people built stadium seats on top of their apartment buildings, just to get a view of the games!

While they were at the game, Mommy took me back to the hotel for some quite time. And to see if we could catch Daddy/Uncle Paul on TV!

After a couple innings of not seeing them, we decided to take a walk to check out more of the city! Can you guess what I am looking up at...you guessed it...FLAGS!

Mommy and Daddy both fell hard for Chicago. The people are friendly, the buildings are so unique (and neither are into buildings), and there is so much nature throughout it. And to top it all off, there's a river running through it! Something tells me I'll be visiting this great city again!

When Daddy and Uncle Paul got out of the game, they met up with me and Mommy! We showed them the beautiful Vietnam memorial Mommy and I found, and had a great time just hanging out by the water!

I sure did give out a lot of my very wet kisses that day!!!

At the end of the day, we were sure to try a pie of Chicago's famous deep dish pizza! While we waited 45 min. for it to cook, I decided to play peek-a-boo for the first time ever! Mommy just had to get it on camera!!!

It was a perfect way to end day one in Chicago!

It is a great city! I loved it too. I'm jealous that you got to see the bean. I didn't even know there was one until your post. oh, next time. Glad you had fun exploring with Eric.
