Chi-Town!!! Day 2

On Friday morning, we started the day early with a boat tour around the city! We traveled through the Chicago river and into Lake Michigan. It was my very first time on a boat, and I have to say, I enjoyed it a lot!

My favorite part was walking around and exploring, but Mommy/Daddy and Uncle Paul's was hearing all the fun facts about the city around us!

1) Lincoln Park and Grant Park both have a statue of themselves in it. Well, that how it was supposed to happen. They wound up putting Grant in Lincoln, and Lincoln in Grant, and never corrected it!

2) Chicago is known as the Windy City. Not for it's wind, but for it's long winded politicians!

3) The penthouses in Trump Tower cost $14,000,000! And the parking spots (to another building we saw) ran, $25,000 a year! Mommy/Daddy thought their $1,200 for parking a year was bad! YIKES!!!

Later in the day, Uncle Paul found out from a friend that the Hancock Building had a bar on the 96th floor! What would any thirsty man do, head to the bar! What would any Mommy afraid of heights do, head to the hotel to bond with baby!

Mommy was very impressed with Daddy, he took some beautiful pictures of it for her!

The city was so beautiful lit up at night, we decided to see what it looked like though the bean! So it was back to the bean!!!

Sure enough, it didn't disappoint!

Day two was another successful day! Nite, nite Chicago!
