When Mommy saw that her friend Parke took her kids to a truck show, she couldn't go on line fast enough to see if one was coming to our area. Her and Daddy were bursting at the seams for me when they saw one was coming in just a couple weeks!
Unfortunately it fell on a day that Daddy had to work, but Mommy, Sara and I decided we'd still go and tell Daddy all about it when we got home! With one of my trucks in hand, it was off to the truck show we went!!!
We got to tell Daddy that I got to sit in a mini excavator!
And that the really nice fireman let me sit in his firetruck!
And even though Sara didn't want to sit in any of the trucks, she loved checking out all the big buckets on them! Like she did on this track loader that I got to pretend to drive!
Daddy was so excited to hear that I got to sit in a super fast car! Next year we will have to be sure to bring cousin Tyler, he would have loved this car!
Daddy already knew this part, but I'm so lucky to have such an awesome sister! She was my bud in looking at all the cool trucks, big tires, and buses! She was right by my side checking everything out with me! I couldn't have asked for a more supportive sister! I love you Sara!
(Just tonight, it's now 3 months to the day later, we were out to dinner and when I asked Eric to sit quietly because he was getting a little loud as he played with Sara, his response..."But Mama, Sara is my best friend!" It was priceless!)
Daddy was so so so so so very happy for me when I told him I got to sit in my favorite truck of all...A HUGE EXCAVATOR!!!!!!!!!!
Though we missed Daddy, we had such an awesome time checking out all the huge trucks around us! Parke, Mommy meant to thank you in person when she saw you, but forgot! So, thank you for posting a picture of your kids at the truck show! Because of that, this is definitely going to be a yearly event for us!!!

Jenn we had one of these in Reno a few months back. It was so much fun! The kids didn't want to leave. I've never heard so many horns honking at one time in my life! lol
Summer, I still hear those horns you speak of in my head! Hahaha!
