Lauren was super excited to see the ponies were back! And Sara was super excited to, not only see a pony for the first time, but ride one too!!! They both loved them!!! The boys on the other hand...
...one boy in particular was too busy cheating on the egg hunt! Eric was caught stealing the eggs through the playground bars before the whistle blew letting everyone know they could start!
Let the official egg hunt begin!!!
After all eggs were found, opened, and played with, we were able to "momentarily" pull the cousins away for some family pics!
Then it was off to the swings!!!
After burning off a bunch of calories from all the fun, it was time to put them right back on with some delicious lunch!!!
And, once again, it was time to burn them right off again!
Little did we know we had a very special surprise waiting for us when we got home...THE GRAND FINALE!!!!!! YEAH!!!!
This Grand Finale in particular was extremely difficult! Two doors, three doors, two doors, three doors!!! There was running with 30 lbs children, and there was cheating, however, in the end, the Downs Family came in dead last. And we weren't one bit happy about it!
What a beautiful day indeed! Exactly the way Easter should be!!!
