Thursday brought a very special surprise...Grandpa skipped work to play with us!!!
We decided to take the boat out for another spin! Along the way, Grandpa found this HUGE snail! He asked one of his friends about it, and apparently it's a stowaway!

Blueberry picking!!! Grandma came up with an excellent idea for something to do when she got out of work...let's go pick blueberries!!!!
We had an absolute blast! Eric was a man on a mission the entire time! He was all business! He got his little red bucket, and went from tree to tree finding the best of the best blueberries! He did an excellent job!
Sara did an excellent job as well! She had a blast picking a few there and there!
The rest of us had a great time picking them, but we also really enjoyed eating them along the way! They were delicious!!!

Afterward we went out for some yummy dinner and Eric got to swing from Grandma and Grandpa!
Then it was off to the neighborhood park before calling it a night! This time the older folks decided to give this playing on the playground thing a try. It's been a while since Grandma and I have been on a swing! No wonder the kids always want to go! It was a blast!
