One of the hardest parts of living away from family is missing out on everyday things. From birthday parties, to Grandma's Christmas concerts, or even sitting on the couch watching TV together.
So you could imagine how excited we were when we found out we were going to be home during one of Lauren's softball games!
She did such a great job! And we had such a blast cheering her on!
YEAH! Great job Lauren!
Afterwards, we went home and had some quality time together! 99% of it was fun loving...
The other 1%, well...
Story time! Lauren, Tyler, and Eric went upstairs to unwind to a couple of books...
While Sara had a blast staying downstairs bonding with Grandpa!
After resting up a bit, it was time to head outdoors yet again! (Yep, that would be a neighbors yard Eric is choosing to mow!)

There were one too many mosquitoes out, so it was back indoors to hang out before we headed our separate ways to rest up for Sunday's fun!!!
