Yesterday, January 6, 2011, was my very first day of school!!! I was supposed to start on Monday, but I had the sniffles and Mommy and Daddy didn't want a single person taking care of me, besides themselves, until I was 100% again!
I had a great first day! Everyone said I was a very happy baby (they weren't telling Mommy or Daddy anything new) and that I had a blast painting my snowflake. The proof was on my face and hands when Mommy and Daddy picked me up! I still had some blue paint on me!
More great news...I already have two friends in class with me! Eric has grown up with his friend Tyler, and now I get to grow up with his younger sister! And I also have another friend, who actually passed down most of my clothes I wore my first three months! Mommy and Daddy are friends with both their Mommy and Daddy's from work!
But the highlight of my day was when my brother Eric came to visit me! Our rooms are directly across from one another! Eric's teacher brought him over during the day to give me a visit. Unfortunately I was sleeping, but he still had a blast seeing me!
Sara, the idea of not being by your side every day is not an easy one. I miss my sidekick. It's been you and me (and a lot of the time your brother) hanging out for the past four months. You'd come shopping with me, we'd hang out on the floor and play with your toys, we'd have lunch together, the list goes on and on. So to not have you with me at all times of the day, well, I miss you. However, you are one very loved girl at your daycare. Teachers came out of every single room to say hi to you! As a matter of fact, you were supposed to be in one classroom, but your teacher fought to have you on her side (she also watched your brother). So your Daddy and I know you are very loved there! Eric has had a wonderful experience, meeting friends, playing, painting, singing songs...we just know you are going to do the same! However, just like your brother had to get used to it, and like you probably noticed last night, Daddy and I miss you and Eric very much during the day, so in the morning, nights, and weekends, be prepared for us to spend each and every second with you!
We love you! And are very proud of what a big girl you are!

Awww...she is too cute!! :) Can't believe how big she has gotten already. Glad you had a good first day of school, Sarah!! :)
I meant Sara with no h!! Sorry!! Ugh! Hahaha :)
She is getting so big!!! We miss you all. I was crying for you as I read your post. It is such a hard thing to leave your baby....I still cry saying goodbye to Hannah!!!!
Jen, how are you doing? I know it must be hard leaving the little sweety. It looks like an amazing place! It's nice that brother and sister get to be close by. Joel will be going to school starting in the fall and I'm SO happy he gets to go with his big sister.
