What a great weekend!!!
It was the first of many things for us! Sara got to wear bows for the first time!!! Our dear friend Alison started up a business, ELLAgant-Bows-and-More (Ella being her little girls name). I may have jumped the gun a bit since Sara has the tiniest bit of hair, but I just couldn't wait, they were too cute to pass up! And Sara is just too cute wearing them! Thanks Alison!!!

The next first thing to happen...Eric got a boo boo that required a band-aid. He has had three huge knots on his head from hitting it so hard, and a countless number of bruises, yet, none of them have ever slowed him down, or one bit phased him.
This little cut on his finger however, he held his finger in the air for two days straight. It was classic! We couldn't stop laughing at him! And if the band-aid fell off, he'd start breathing heavy and say..."No touch! No touch!" Best part is, he didn't even know he cut himself until Paul pointed it out because he saw it was bleeding! P.S. We went through an entire box of band-aids for this famous little cut of his :)

The next, first, big thing that happened...Sara started Oatmeal!!! She has been inhaling her 6 oz bottles (she just recently moved up from 4 oz), and woke up twice a night a couple times last week, instead of her usual one, so we figured it was time to graduate to oatmeal!
We figured we'd try her out when she was most hungry...dinner time! Sara on the other hand, she didn't think it was a good time! All she wanted was her...

bottle! Awwww, much better!!! After a few bites, and a bit of milk in her tummy, she accepted the fact that a spoon was going in her mouth instead of a bottle. At first she was a bit confused as to what she was supposed to do, but the past feedings she's been doing great!!!

And finally, the next first thing to happen this weekend...Eric got his first "professional" haircut! We were really hesitant to bring him due to him showing no interest at all in us cutting his hair. The last time I tired, he had approx. 5 packs of his fruit snacks just to get him to sit AND I gave him a bald spot! So, we figured it would be best to take him to someone who knew what they were doing!
Things started off really well at first! She was blowing bubbles, and he was loving it!

But then things went south...

way south!!!

There was about 5-10 min. where he sat on my lap and forgot about everything that was happening around him....

but then he quickly remembered!

Sara on the other hand, she was her usual happy self enjoying all the colors around her!

It may not have been the most fun thing for our boy, but he sure does look handsome with his new cut!!!

Because he was such a brave boy, he got to go to Petco afterward to look at the snakes AND to pick out a fish! (We went to pick him up at school the other day and spied on him for quite some time. Him and his friends Tyler and Andrew were going crazy over a fish that was in their room for the day. We just knew we had to get him one!)
Eric got to check out all the fish, but we knew we were going to have him choose from the Betta fish, since that's the one he was going crazy over.

While we were there, we got to see the cast of Finding Nemo!!!

He had so much fun coming home and setting it up with Daddy!!! He couldn't wait to pour in the "red" gravel he picked out all on his own!
