2 years and 3 months!

Checkup time! We just took Eric in for his two year well visit, and Sara for her 3 month! This is a love hate time. Love getting an update on how well the kids are doing/Hate knowing Sara is going to get a shot but has no idea it's coming, and worse, Eric is going to get a shot knowing it's coming :(

Eric!
Poor boy was so scared. The Dr. Just walked into the room and he started to cry. It would be nice if his amazing memory would somehow forget about these Dr. visits. We were SO thankful to hear that he is doing great! He now weighs 26 lbs 14 oz! And he's 33 1/2 inches tall!

Eric, you love life to the fullest- big trucks, yellow school buses, blue Christmas lights, the color red, looking in the mirror when we spike your hair, the fall leaves being blown around by the leaf blowers...the list goes on and on. These things make you SO happy, and in return, they make us happy. If either of us is driving and you're not in the car, it's impossible not to drive by a school bus and not smile from ear to ear picturing your excitement and hearing your little voice yell " Yellow School Bus!" You make us appreciate the little things in life, the way you do!

We can't get enough of the way you say- "I get it!", "Too dark outside basketball", "I cold", "Love you Mama/Dada", "Dat's LOUD!. You crack us up/melt our hearts with your little voice and the way you say things! There is one word however that you sometimes use that we'd be ok with you dropping...

No. When Mommy reminds you, you are really good at saying "No Thank You". But it does take some reminding! :)

And you should know you are by far the coolest little guy to hang out with! You are full of personality! There is not a hair on your head that we'd change about you...not even the really short ones Mommy just cut which gave you a bit of a bald spot! Sorry bubba! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Sara!
Baby girl did such a good job at her Dr. appointment. Thankfully, she doesn't know what's going on. So a little loving after her shots and she was good to go! We were also SO thankful to hear she is doing great as well! She now weighs 12 lbs 14 oz and is 23 5/8 inches tall! Way to go Sara!

Sara, you are such a delight to be around! You are such a happy, happy little girl! Your Daddy and I will be feeding you and we'll notice you stopped drinking. We'll look down to see why, and it's because you are busy smiling up at us! We were talking about it the other day, how it absolutely makes our day!

Another thing that makes our day...when you giggle! You recently started to giggle and it's priceless! As is your little voice. When you get talking it's the best! Sometimes you'll let out such a big noise, you'll even surprise yourself!

You are showing signs of wanting to eat a bit more. At times you now drink 6 oz a feeding compared to your 4. You are still eating every 3 hours during the day. At night, you usually eat around 8 or 9 ish, and have been lasting until 6 or 7 before you wake for a feeding. Way to go Sara! Just this morning Eric woke up before you! That's the first time ever :)

You don't really care for your paci. The only time you want it is seconds before you're about to fall asleep. We know you are wanting it because your head turns to the right and your arm goes up to your face (it's the way you hold your paci in) Each and every time...head to the right, arm to the face. It's the cutest! Once you are asleep, out it goes and you don't want it again until seconds before you're about to fall asleep again.

There really isn't anything you dislike in life, like I said, you are an extremely happy baby girl. There is however one thing...your car seat! Just this past week you sat in it without crying...boy is that progress! You sit in your bouncy, in our arms as we hang out on the couch, on your floor play mat and just smile away all day long...the second, and yes, I mean the second we put you in your car seat, that great mood has turning to screams. Thankfully you've recently showed signs of not being bothered by it as much...phew!

You are such an easy, happy, little girl! And we're pretty much obsessed with every ounce of you!!!
