Boston In October!

October 30th and 31st were two very big days for me!!!

Upon arriving at Grammie and Grampa's house, I was very excited to see I had birthday gifts waiting for me! Well, to be honest, I wasn't very excited at all. See, I didn't quite get the fact that they were for me and I was supposed to open them. But have no fear, by the end of our visit, I knew exactly what a gift looked like and it didn't stand a chance around me!!!

Even though we weren't celebrating my birthday until the following day, Auntie was nice enough to let me open her gift to me! A CELTICS JERSEY!!! How cool! I've never been in a sleeveless shirt before, so I kept putting my arms back through the hole! :)

Auntie's friends Skelly and Jamie were there visiting as well! It was great to see them, especially since it had been a while! Mommy was cracking up with how tall Skelly was next to me, so we decided to get a picture of it! The shadow of the kitchen light makes it look like her head is touching the ceiling, but it's really not. She may be tall, but she's not that tall!!!

Afterward, sissy, Auntie, Daddy, Mommy, Ruby and I headed outside to PLAY!!!

The next day, Halloween, we got a very special visit from my friend Hannah! Mommy and Daddy had so much fun seeing them again, as did I! They couldn't stay for my birthday party, but it sure was fun hanging out with them, and having them meet my new baby sister for the first time!

Later that day, Mommy and Daddy put a sign on Sara that read "Will you be my Godmother!" As Auntie went to go hold Sara, she saw the sign and was VERY EXCITED!!! Mommy and Daddy surprised Uncle John the same way asking him to be the Godfather!!! He too was VERY EXCITED!!! However, they couldn't possibly be more excited than Mommy and Daddy... knowing just how blessed Sara is to have them as her Godparents makes them very happy!

Afterward, it was CAKE TIME!!! From the look on my face you'd think I couldn't wait to dig in. But once I got my piece, I spent the entire time cutting it with two forks and I didn't eat a bite of it! And at the rate Daddy was cutting the pieces, nobody else was going to get a bite either. He was cutting them SO BIG, we almost didn't have enough for everyone!!! We all still laugh at him wondering what he was thinking cutting the cake in quarters with 15 or so people there! Silly Daddy!

I felt SO fortunate to have so many people stop by to help me celebrate my birthday!!! They truly are the BEST!!! Each and every one of them!!!

The fun didn't end there! After we spent time with everyone celebrating my 2nd birthday, I got dressed up in my Elmo costume and we all went trick-or-treating!!! I had a blast saying trick-or-treat 100 times as we walked down the sidewalks, however, I didn't really say it as we got to the people handing out candy :)

By the end of the night we were all pretty tired!!! But it was worth every second of it!!! Yet, another perfect weekend!!!
