Oh To Be Five...

After getting off the phone with our niece Lauren today, Paul and I had some very interesting conversations to exchange.

They went as followed:

Conversation #1:
Lauren: Uncle, do you remember you said I was two instead of five!
Uncle: I never said you were two!
Lauren: Yes you did! I remember from the top of my lungs that you said I was two!

Conversation #2:
Lauren: Auntie Jen, I know why they call it a hospital. (pronounced: ho-spit-table)
Auntie Jen: Really, why?
Lauren: Because it has the word spit in it. And they don't want you spitting in your hands or else you'll get sick. And if you get sick, you have to go to the hospittable and that's not good.

Conversation #3:
After 100 other jokes...
Lauren: Why did the toilet paper cross the road?
Uncle: Why?!
Lauren: Because it wanted to go for a roll!
Unlce: (laughs.)
Lauren: Uncle, is that a real laugh, or, are you fake laughing?
Uncle: I'm real laughing, I don't know how to fake laugh. They're so funny, I've been writing them all down.
Lauren: Oh yeah, then read them all back to me!
Uncle throws the phone at Auntie Jen as he proceeds to catch his breath from laughing so hard. BUSTED!!!

As always Lauren, there are just no words to describe how much we love you! Thanks for being silly you!!!
