Thanksgiving 2009 was one to remember. Plan A...Saturday morning we hop on a plane and enjoy 9 days in Florida with family. Unfortunately, I had a fever and Mommy and Daddy felt too bad making me travel when I didn't feel well, so it was on to Plan B...pay $350 to switch our flight to Monday morning, but this time, only spend 7 days with family. We'll take it!
As I was up North getting better, my cousin Tyler was down South getting sick! However, we weren't going to let that stop us! We were going to get on that flight Monday either way! And that we did!
Once we arrived we couldn't wait to see everyone! Fortunately, cousin Tyler was feeling much better. Unfortunately, my Uncle Paul was not. He went home sick on Monday and we saw him maybe once or twice the entire trip :(
All sickness aside. A great time was had by all! On top of getting to see everyone again, I got to sit forward in my car seat for the very first time AND cousin Tyler let me use his booster seat!

I had SO much fun playing with cousin Lauren in her room! She had SO many books for me to read! However, she was very nervous about this. As a matter of fact, she picked out certain ones for me to read...ones she didn't mind if I ruined! Apparently she's used to having a younger brother! Cousin Lauren was SO good at reading! She sounds out her words and Mommy and Daddy think it's so cute...and very impressive! We also had a great time playing dress up!

My cousin Tyler and me, well, let's just say we have history of playing well from a distance, but not so well close up. Everyone was very interested to see if we would be any better this time around. Hmmmm, I'll let you be the judge of that one!

The next morning I was excited to visit my Grandma at her Elementary school! She's a music teacher there and she let me play with all the fun instruments! I also got to meet her great friend Coach Turman for the first time! She was awesome and let me ride on her cart to the BIGGEST playground I've ever seen! Boy did I have fun! I should note for future reference...it was here that Mommy saved Thanksgiving dinner!!!

Thanksgiving was filled with laughter, hosing down the patio, Lauren getting sick, hosing down the patio, great Turkey dinner (not baked macaroni!), hosing down the patio, music with Grandpa, pressure washing the patio, playing outside with everyone, and labeled water bottles! Grandma says we waste too many, so this year she got smart and labeled them!

Since we had had a couple days around one another, everyone thought it would be a good idea to sit Tyler and me next to one another again. WRONG!

The next morning, not only was Uncle Paul still sick, not only was Lauren still sick, but now Grandma was sick too! (None of these photos were staged!) So, Grandpa came up with a great idea...Mommy, Daddy and me should head to Sarasota for the day! And that we did!

The next day Auntie Lisa was so nice and surprised me with my very own smash cake! Since they couldn't celebrate my birthday with me, they all figured better late than never! We had such a great time! And boy oh boy was my cake delicious!

The next day I was so excited to hear we were going to see the BIG Christmas tree again this year! We had such a great time last year, I was excited to see what fun we were going to have this year! (Especially since I'm older and can do more things) Little did I know I was going to get to ride a Choo-Choo train! This was SO MUCH FUN! Since there was no line after us, the driver drove us around a lot longer than usual! CHOO-CHOO! We had fun waiving to Grandma, Grandpa, Unlce Wes and Uncle Paul as we drove by! Thanks for taking pictures of us Grandpa! I already can't wait to go back next year!

After playing around the Christmas tree, we were so excited to see some horses! Daddy was sitting on a bench talking on the phone with Grammie and out of the clear blue, a horse pulls up behind him and puts his head right next to Daddys! Yes, Daddy flew off the bench in no time! hahaha!

Finally, after 7 days of spending time together, we finally found an answer to Cousin Tyler and my happiness....simply put a net between us! We played like this for the longest time! It was so much fun!

I then made the mistake of standing up...you can only image what happened next!!!

As always, our trip was too short. However, we are very thankful for the time we do get to spend at home! We make the most of every second, and look forward to our next visit down! We love and miss you all!!!

Jenn I loved all the pics! It is amazing how much you and your siblings all resemble each other! Your niece looks like a mini version of you :) Glad you guys had a happy holiday.
Looks like you had a lot of fun despite the sickness. The pics of Eric in the Booster seat looking at Tyler is so hilarious! I love his expression.
Looks like such a great time... I love the water bottles! I agree... too much wasting because no one ever knows which one is theirs.
Fantastic pics as always Jen! does your family live in Orlando? I swear that we were at that same mall and took that same train ride when we were there. I took it with Dylan while Mike shopped. I remember feeling like an idiot and everyone was laughing at me because I looked silly with just me and Dylan on there.
