Christmas In Florida!!!

Mommy, Daddy and I flew down to Florida to spend Christmas with Mommy's side of the family! We were there from Dec.23rd - Jan.4th and somehow that just didn't seem long enough :(

In those two short weeks we created so many memories! There are many things we are going to miss. Such as...

The Sun...
When we arrived in Florida it was late at night so I didn't get to feel that Florida sun Mommy and Daddy kept talking about! However, the next morning we got up bright and early and boy did that sun feel good!

My Family...
I got to meet my Auntie Lisa, Uncle Paul, Uncle Wes, cousin Lauren, and cousin Tyler for the very first time! Cousin Lauren was SO nice to me! She would sing "Turn that frown upside down" if I was crying. And she was Mommy's diaper helper every time I had a diaper change! Not only that, but she gave me a nickname as well! She calls me, "Ereeeeek!"

She was so excited to see my Mommy and Daddy again! The entire trip she kept asking them, "Are you the real Uncle and Auntie Jen?"

It was my Mommy and Daddy's first time meeting my cousin Tyler! He was the happiest baby ever! They miss him so much! Especially his scrunch nose!

Christmas Morning...
We had so much fun opening gifts (some more memorable than others *coughs* Camouflage Jacket! hahaha!), listening to Christmas music, eating Grandma's home cooked meals, watching football games, and drinking a lot of water (but only half the bottle! hahaha!)

The Grand Finale!!!
I just learned that every year Grandma and Grandpa have a "Grand Finale" to gift opening! Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Paul, Auntie Lisa, and Uncle Wes love this part because it usually means money in their pockets! However, you do have to earn it!

Me and cousin Tyler had so much fun watching everyone race through hoops, shoot baskets, bowl and steal each others money! Auntie Lisa didn't like that at all and chased my Daddy around the neighborhood to get her money back!

Once we got inside we had a surprise waiting for us! It was our own Christmas tree with some of the most amazing ornaments on it! hahaha! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Our Slumber Parties (even though Lauren hates the word slumber!)

Our Strolls Around The Block...
When Mommy and Daddy visit they always take cousin Lauren for walks around the neighborhood! This year, they were so excited they got to take me with them as well!

As Mommy was walking she noticed cousin Lauren stopped walking. When she looked to see what she was doing she noticed she was standing in front of an American flag saying the Pledge of Allegiance! She had no idea Mommy snapped this picture! *sneaky, sneaky*

Wire Grass?, Water Grass?, Wire Fire?...
I had so much fun at this outdoor mall with everyone! Mommy, Grandma and I went shopping while Daddy, Grandpa and Uncle Paul have fun trying ALL the beer at the Brass Tap bar! Daddy said he had some of the best beer ever there!

The Light Show!
I sure am going to miss getting ready for the light show! It was a lot of fun missing the first one, catching the second one, missing Cosi, going home to eat... no ... eating at Beefs ... no ... going home ... no ...eating at Beefs!!! Hahaha!!! But it was all worth it!!!

Seeing Grammie and Grampa's new house in FL!!!...
Grandma and Grandpa babysat me while Mommy and Daddy went to see Gramie and Grampa's new house in FL!!! They had SO much fun with them and absolutely love the new house! When they came home they told me all about the pool I will one day get to play in!

They then went to Sarasota to spend the day together. They did have beach front reservation at the hotel that they stayed at for their wedding, but Mommy couldn't be without me for that long and canceled them! Daddy made fun of her the entire car ride home! hahaha!

New Years!!!...
Yep! That's how I rang in the new year! hahahaha!!! Uncle Paul had "so much fun" getting the TV ready for us to be able to watch the ball drop! Who am I kidding...he had "so much fun" getting the TV set up for the football games!!!

The night before, Daddy and Uncle Wes went out to Blockbuster and the "store" to get drinks! The famous last words of the night were "We'll be right back!" Two hours later Mommy, Auntie Lisa, and Grandma were nervous when they didn't come home! Turns out Daddy and Uncle Wes went to the Brass Tap (without calling) to try some of the beer Daddy had earlier in the trip! Ooooow!! They were in BIG trouble! hahaha! But they "got us candy!" Ah-hahaha!!!

The Family Photo! ...we all know the rest! hahaha!

Nights Spent As A Family!...
I am going to miss the 4 a.m. pizzas, Entrouage being Uncle Wes's lullaby, more empty liquor bottles, ITunes, FaceBook and Charley!

Charley, the spider that had spikes all over his back, but somehow won over cousin Lauren heart! She fell in love with this spider that was in her back yard and cried and cried and cried when she was told he isn't a pet! She named him Charley and talked about him ALL NIGHT long! She has such a big heart!!!

Having My Head Eaten By Cousin Tyler...
Cousin Tyler tried rice cereal for the very first time! He loved it! Auntie Lisa couldn't move fast enough to get it in his mouth!!! Mommy says I will one day know what that is, but for now I am still going to just drink milk!

What I am NOT going to miss is this day...
The airport back in NY :( It was my very first time in an airplane and Mommy and Daddy said I did SO GOOD! I slept the entire trip (both ways) and drank my milk on the way up and down so my ears didn't get hurt!

Above all I am going to miss...
Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Lisa, Uncle Wes, cousin Lauren, cousin Tyler and Uncle Paul! I love each and everyone of them SO much!!!

I just have one question...has Eagle Eye been returned yet?

Jen, it looks like you had so much fun! Lauren looks so freakin' cute in her headband. I can only hope that Aubrey will one day keep a head band on her head. How close are the boys in age? And, lastly, don't let Paul tease you too much for skipping on the hotel. I still have not left Aubrey overnight and she's almost a year! Glad to see that everyone is doing so well. Eric is getting so big!

Can I be adopted? It looks so nice there. And your family seems so sweet (mine's good too, but they live where it's too cold!). I love that your parents made you do an obstacle course!! Looks like you had a great visit! Lauren, Tyler and of course Eric are all so super cute!!! Miss you. Come hang out sometime!!!
