Earlier this month, (January 9-12th) we got to have Christmas all over again with Daddy's side of the family!!! It was my first time driving a long distance and Mommy and Daddy said I did great! (I slept the entire way) Half way through we stopped at Mommy and Daddy's special rest stop to grab a "quick" bite to eat! We made sure to get right back on the road because we couldn't wait to get home to see everyone!!!
Once we got there, everyone was SO EXCITED to get Christmas started, we decided to open all our gifts! Mommy and Daddy had so much fun opening my gifts for me while I sat cozy in Grammie's arms! (Mommy and Daddy brought a bouncy seat for me, but little did they know there was NO WAY any one was putting me down the entire trip! hahaha!)
That night I slept so good in my pack n' play! I was extra cozy because I was cuddled up to my new cuddle bear that my Auntie got me for Christmas! To this day I still sleep with him at night!
Little did I know when I woke up I was going to have such a special day! I spent so much quality time with everyone! I was especially excited to find out I was going to meet my Great Gramma for the first time! Mommy thought it was so special that she got to take a 4 generation picture of all of us!
Later that night I got to meet some of my Daddy's best friends that he grew up with! (I was sad to find out Joe, who gave me my cool Ireland jacket, wasn't going to be there since he was still in Ireland. But Mommy and Daddy tell me I'll be able to meet him soon!) I did however get to meet Jeff, the one who drove all the way down to Fl. with my Daddy to ask my Grandpa for permission to marry my Mommy) and his wife Dina! I also got to meet Eric, "The Original!" (he was so excited to find out Mommy and Daddy were naming me Eric just like him!) and his girlfriend Danielle! Even though I was a bit cranky that night, they were all SO NICE to me!!! It's no wonder Mommy and Daddy love them all so much!!!
I also got to meet many of my Grammie and Grampa's friends. And I got to spend time with my Auntie L!!! She had a cold so she didn't want to get too close to me, but I still had a great seeing her and my Great Nannie again!
The next morning I woke up to a Winter Wonderland!!! That's something I didn't see when we spent Christmas in Florida! hahaha! Mommy, Daddy and I were so sad we had to leave. We were sure to get up early enough for me to spend time with everyone before we headed home. I made sure to play with Ruby, but I especially had fun playing with my Uncle John! I had so much fun with him as he would lift me high in the air!!!
I miss you already Great Gramma, Great Nannie, Grammie, Grampa, Auntie, Auntie L, Uncle John and Ruby!!!
