Summer Fun...June!!!

What a fun filled month June was! It started off with...

MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Happy 35th Birthday to me!!!

The weekend was filled with nothing but fun! We started it off with some golf!!! The kids have a blast riding around with Grandma and Grandpa! We also love seeing how much better Grandma gets each time we head out! Her coach Grandpa should be proud!!! Her ball soars!!!

Birthday Dinners! When taking pictures of the kids on the saddle, I had no clue I'd later find myself sitting on it while everyone stops eating dinner to sing me happy birthday!!! So embarrassing! And definitely a moment I will never forget! Tricky, tricky, family of mine! :)

Boat rides! The next morning we started the day off right...we spent it on the lake!!!

And we rescued a lost turtle!

When everyone arrived and it was time to get the fishing rods ready to head out for some fishing!

But not before the blame game! She ate the last one, no he did, no she did! Truth be told...it was her!!! Hahaha!

It's fishing family time!!!

Cousins being cousins!

As if they weren't wired enough...it's cake time!!! Or shall I say, cookie pile, time!

ANIMALS!

Eric and Sara love to visit the "animals"! And that's just how we spent many of our summer days!!!

For the first time we decided to watch the bird show and I'm glad we did! Eric and Sara loved it, and we got to meet the bird that was on the Johny Carson show the same day Elvis was! He preformed the same act he did on that day! :)

SWIMMING!

In the hot summer months, we did lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of swimming!!!

NATURE TRAILS!

We walked nature trails with Mimi and Grampa and came across somes really cool wildlife!

ANIMAL PARK!

While visiting Mimi and Grampa, we decided to go check out a new Animal Park! Well, the place itself was very old, it reminded Daddy so much of the 80's which he loved, but it was our first time there, so it was new to us!

The place was filled with lots of great animals, however...

I was pretty obsessed with this Mommy bird and her baby! You'll see her left wing is out, that's because she is protecting/snuggling with her little one! In the second photo baby bird is playing peek-a-boo with us! And in the third, she came out to play! I could have watched these two all day! So cute!

Cupcakes to make the day that much better! Yum!

Sara loved the goats! And the goats loved her!

It's not every day you get to walk with the turtles, chickens, iguanas, and...

Peacocks! We were so happy one of them decided to show us their beautiful feathers! Such an amazing bird!

RAINY DAYS!

We spent many afternoons hanging out inside building tents and watching movies as we waited for the storm clouds to pass by!

THE MALL!!!

We greatly enjoy our mall days with Grandma and Grandpa!!! We aren't the only ones thankful for this, Abercrombie is as well! They found their next store male model!!! Just look at that stud!!!

ANIMALS, ANIMALS, AND MORE ANIMALS!

Like I said, we couldn't visit the animals enough in our opinion!

We also spent some of the summer nights eating out!

PLAY DATES!!!

Many upon many days were spent playing with friends!!! We'd go to music classes together!

We'd go to the library together where we'd get to learn about cool construction machines...

and read lots of books!

Each week we'd head to open play at the gym! To say they had a blast here would be quite the understatement!

And we'd head to the book store for some more music classes!  Great way to spend the day with some friends!

LET'S DANCE!

The kids couldn't be any cuter if they tried! Each time this specific episode of Choo-Choo Soul would come on they'd come running (and still do!  Yes, I'm still playing major catch up!) from whatever room they were in so they could hold hands and dance like Cinderella and her Prince Charming! It is BEYOND ADORABLE to watch!!! And we find it absolutely adorable they came up with this little idea of theirs on their own!!!

BEACH DAYS!

We spent days hanging out by the water simply enjoying the day!

READING!

We spent days bonding over a book! But not without our "reading glasses!"

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

On the 26th Paul and I got to enjoy a night away to celebrate our 9th Anniversary! It was a lovely night and it's always so amazing to stay at the resort we had our reception at! It's so great reliving our big day! Happy Anniversary Best Friend!!! I Love You!!!

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!

We spent the end of June celebrating Tyler turning 5! And what a celebration it was! The kids had an absolutely blast kicking, crawling, jumping, yelling, balancing, chopping , and laughing! Such a great time! Happy Birthday Big Boy!!! We Love You!!!

The excitement from this boy when he saw he was going to get to cut the cake with a sword, was too much! Beyond adorable!

This would be the moment Mom almost unzipped her shirt to show just how cool of a shirt it was! Forgetting, we weren't the only two in the room! Ah-hahahaha! Now that was a close one!!! Hahaha! A classic moment indeed!

COUSINS!
Days were spent being cousins! From painting nails, blushing cheeks, and doing hair! To relaxing to some movies!

Such a great start to the summer!!!
