Even More Christmas And Birthday Fun!!!

You didn't hear many, or any for that matter, complaints coming from Eric and Sara when we told them our Christmas and birthday celebrations weren't over just yet!!! Nor did you hear any coming from us!

Grandma is always doing such creative things! One of my favorites, the Christmas ornaments on the tree this year were pictures of the family! It was so much fun to look around at all the old photos! WE LOVED IT!!!

BUDDA!
Though we weren't opening gifts until the next day, Grandpa just couldn't wait any longer to show Eric what he got him! Eric had no complaints opening a gift earlier than expected! A BUDDA!!! Grandpa has a Budda in his office that Eric has always had a love for! So very special that Eric has his own now! No wonder Grandpa couldn't wait to show us!

After opening his gift, Eric could no longer wait to show Grandpa what he got him either! Like Eric, Grandpa had no complains opening a gift earlier than expected! A BUDDA!!! Eric and Grandpa had the same idea for each other for Christmas this year! Oh how very special these little BUDDAS are!!!

GOLFING!
The next morning we headed out to the green to see Grandma and her swing! She's been practicing and it showed! Man she can hit that ball!!!

And she wasn't the only one!

These three however... let's just say they did well, but only when their club actually made contact with the ball! Hahaha!

As far as the Mrs. goes... well...

Like all beginner golfers, she realized it was way more fun to pass the balls out to everyone! I'm sure her Daddy would agree!!!

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!
Later that night we headed to our traditional spot and watched the lights on the Christmas tree dance to music! Like every other year we've gone, we had a blast!

APPLES TO APPLES!!!
Once the kids were safely in bed sleeping, it was time to break out Apples To Apples! Oh how we laughed, and laughed, and laughed! Poor Grandpa would have the most perfect answer laid down, and somehow, no one would pick it!  We'd unknowingly pick Paul's, not so perfect, answer!  Hahaha!

CHRISTMAS!!!
The next morning everyone was so excited to find so many presents under the tree!

Uncle Wes, Auntie Lisa, Lauren and Tyler are here! Uncle Wes, Auntie Lisa, Lauren and Tyler are here! After we got done seeing all the awesome new toys Santa brought them, it was time to head inside to get the unwrapping party started!!!

Let's get to unwrapping! Ready...set...go!!!

No Christmas is complete without... A Grand Finale!!!

Though we were very appreciative of the Grand Finale gift we just received, we were a wee bit confused when we heard it was time to eat, yet, the finale consisted of zero competitions!  Hmmmmm!

What better time to wish Daddy a HAPPY BIRTHDAY than dessert time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR DADDY!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!

Make a wish!!! We Love You Daddy!!!

What is this!?!? A paper with a Grandma written jingle on it! This can only mean one thing... we were right!!! The Grand Finale is far from over!!! Let the games being!!!

But not before we sing our jingle with the help of a very talented pianist...Lauren!!!

Gosh I love this girl!!! She did such an amazing job!

Let the competition begin!!!
Be the fastest to find your picture on all cubes and line them up...sounds easy enough, right! Well, for some it was...

...for others...it took a wee bit longer than the average time!

These cuties did a great job finding all their pictures!

Next it was time to head outdoors for some more fun! And boy was this game fun! Shooting the ball off and catching it in a cup was easier said than done! That's for sure!

Not only was this game awesome because it made for some very funny poses while trying to catch the ball, but Paul and I won!!! WHOO HOOO! (Sorry, but it's not too often we win these Grand Finale competitions! Hahahaha!)

Next it was back indoors for yet another game! Who can pull the Kleenexes out of the Kleenex box the fastest! As you can see, not only was this game fun to play, but the kids had an absolute blast making it "snow" after the game was over! A perfect way to wrap up another fun filled Grand Finale!

As we were outside saying goodnight, we realized what a clear night it was. What a perfect time to try out one of Grandpa's new toy! It was absolutely amazing seeing the moon so close! Absolutely, amazing!

While we were admiring the moon, the kiddies were admiring some frogs and anything else they could find with their little flashlights!

And since it was dark out, we figured it would be a perfect time to try out their new glow in the dark race track! It was oh so funny to see Sara sit in the middle of the track as she tired to catch the car as it whipped around her. I'm not sure Eric has ever laughed harder as she missed it each and every time!

CHRISTMAS DISPLAY FUN!!!
The next night Grandma and Grandpa brought us to a really cool Christmas display! They had so many things to look at! From decorated Christmas trees, to Nutcrackers, and Firetrucks! But the coolest of all were the amazingly detailed Christmas villages they had set up all around! Rooms were filled with them, making it feel very magical! We loved it here!

Amongst all things to look at was this Peanuts Nativity set! It reminded us of so many of our friends at Bluesky we just had to take a picture! :)

Hanging out with cousins...

...fishing with Grandpa

and simply enjoying every moment spent with family! No better way to wrap up our Christmas celebration!
