Each time we visit Mimi and Grampa, we are sure to visit the park by their house as well! It's just too much fun not to!

Though the park was a great time, it was time to call it a day! For there was fun to be had at home as well!
They got to choose one special present to open that night! All the other gifts would have to wait until the following morning! So they were sure to pick very very carefully!
A SPOON!!! Eric's one and only gift he chose to open was a SPOON! There's only one person who would be responsible for a trick like this...TRICKY GRAMPA!!! His reaction was quite possibly the funniest thing ever! The photo on the right pretty much sums it up! He stared at that spoon for the longest time...

and then quickly moved onto help Sara open her present. We think it was in hopes that he would like it and could possibly share it since his gift was a bust! Hahaha!

Since baby doll carriages and kitchen utensils aren't quite his thing, he got to open another gift! A real one this time! Hahaha! Boy did he handle that joke like a CHAMP!!! Though he didn't really complain about getting a SPOON, he was much happier with this rescue set!!! Now that's more like it! Hahaha!!!

The next morning brought great happiness to Eric and Sara as well! As they opened gift, after gift, after gift!

The fun didn't stop at the kids, us adults had a blast as well as we got to open all of our gifts!!!

Little did Tricky Grampa know, but Tricky Eric had a joke up his sleeve as well! One of Eric's gifts to him...SPOONS!!! Eric had SO much fun tricking him right back!!! It was so cute! A Christmas full of spoons!!! Hahaha!!!

After all gifts were open, there was one last thing to do...PLAY!!!

Later that night we headed out and celebrated Daddy's Birthday!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!

Though these were the kids menus, us adults were completely entertained by them! Especially the 'Hide and Seek Game'! You'd think these fish would be easy to find since they were in such a large group! However, they were the exact opposite! Mimi and myself had the hardest time!!! Everyone else on the other hand, well, let's just say they didn't find it quite as hard as we did! Hahaha!!!

Still looking...still looking...

Found them!!!

What a great time we had celebrating Daddy's birthday!!! Time to head home for some "surprise" birthday cake!

Because of the little Mrs. in the middle picture below, it wasn't much of a surprise! She was SO excited she pretty much pointed it out the second he walked! Hahahaha! Gotta love our little non secret keepers!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
