Sara Turns Two!!!

Though we already had a birthday party for the birthday girl, we had to make her real birthday just as special! So we filled it with presents, cake and family!

Make a wish, birthday girl!!!

We will never know, because you should never tell, but we are thinking her wish could have had something to do with...

...turning her car seat forward!!!

These pictures were taken the day before her big day! It was her very last time riding backwards! She waited a very long time for the day we could flip it forward...

And the day was finally here!!!

Daddy did the honors of turning it around, and she couldn't have been more excited! She felt like such a big girl! And was very excited to see facing forward didn't affect being able to hold Eric's hand! Congratulations Sara!!!

A LITTLE ABOUT SARA!!!

Sara, The Mommy!

What can we say about Sara and her babies... She loves them, she changes their diapers, wipes their bums, and puts a band-aid on their boo-boos. She will kiss them, rub their back, stroll them, and cradle them ever so gently! She is a Mommy at heart!!!

Sara, The Pet Lover!

Sara loves animals! Especially dogs! Or according to her, ruff-ruffs! She will get completely overwhelmed over how cute they are and will start talking in a really high pitch voice to them! She loves them, and they love her!

Sara, The Dr.!

Sara loves to make boo-boo's feel better! Though her choice of medical equipment is at times questionable, she does a great job at making boo-boo's (real or not) feel all better!

Sara, The Little Sister!

Sara loves her E! And her E loves her! They tease one another, they argue with one another, they protect one another, and are the very best of friends!

Sara, The Stylist!

All we can say is, this girl has a future in fashion! Mommy may be able to learn a thing or two from her in the future!

Sara, The Photographer!

Sara loves to ask for our phone so she can look through the pictures/videos we take of her and Eric! She also loves to add her own shots to the mix! And let me tell you, this girl is good! We LOVE her photographs! There's just something about them...

Sara, The Go With The Flow Girl!

Not only is Sara up for anything, but she enjoys doing whatever that anything is!

Sara, The Artist!

Give the girl a crayon and she is off to the drawing table! She LOVES coloring/drawing! She spends most of her time at her little table creating master piece after master piece! It's by far her favorite thing to do!

Here's a little video of us catching her singing while she draws up one of those master pieces! She is very shy when attention is drawn to her, so we had to sneak getting video!

(From the look on her face, she knows she's not holding purple! For the most part she knows her colors, but apparently Mommy doesn't! It was in fact brown she was holding! Oops!)

Sara, The Chatter Box!

Sara has been learning more and more words each day! She's now starting to put 3 words together to make her own little sentences which is so fun to hear!

Some of our favorite words she says are:

- Bam-Baid for Band-Aid

- Ime-Out! for Time-Out!

- Click-Click for the clicker (aka, the remote control)

- E for Eric!

- Shhha-Shhha for Sara!

- Ummmmmmmmmm... when asked a questions she does a really long Umm, as she thinks of her answer.

- OooooK...she also likes to draw out her OK's!

As I turned the corner she was saying and writing letters as she attempted to spell, "Shhha-Shhha" (Sara).   But being the shy girl she is, the second she saw the video she stopped doing it. But we did get her sounding like such a big girl as she says, "OK, Mommy!"

Sara, The Counter!

Sara counts to 10, and a little past! However, attention was on her, so she turned into a little shy girl in this video. But we did get her counting to 10 for the most part!

Sara also enjoys...

- The color Blue! It's her absolute favorite color!

- Cookies! Ask her what she wants for a snack and chocolate chip cookies will always be the answer! She'll chose it over any other snack!

- Bubble Guppies! She loves the show and does the cutest dance to the music!

- Tooth Paste! The girl loves being sneaky and eating her tooth paste! When she comes out from the bathroom with a huge guilty smile on her face, you know just what she's been up to!

- Dancing! She used to shy away when anyone would catch her dancing, but now she loves it! And we love when she does it because it's seriously the cutest thing seeing her coordinate her little body!

Sara, at just the little age of two you have a personality like no other! You've really come into your own, and we've enjoyed every second of seeing it happen! You are determined and know what you want, yet, are the easiest going girl around. You are simply a joy to be around! We love you with our every being! HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY BIG GIRL!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
