HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!
The weekend we got back from our trip up North, we headed back out again to celebrate Tyler's 4th birthday!!! And since Uncle Paul's birthday was coming up, as well as the 4th of July, we decided, let's just stay the week!!! So we did just that!!!
We were so excited to go bowling for the very first time!!!
And equally as excited to see everyone again since it had been a few weeks!!!
While we waited for everyone to arrive, we got to ride in some super fast cars!
It's bowl time!!!
This is the coolest birthday party ever!!! Bowling is super fun!!!
The birthday boy himself!!! It was time to take a little break and fill our bellies with some pizza!!!
Who said this party was just for kids! The adults decided to play a round themselves!
Some got strike after strike...
other, did not!!!
Poor Daddy! Would you like some kiddie bumpers!?! Hahaha!
Bowling Rock Stars! I suggested we stand in order from winner to loser, but others protested that idea! Hahaha!!!
Grandpa even got in on the action! He had bumpers since he was playing one of the kids turn, but that didn't matter! After years of being on a league himself, that ball went no where near the gutters!
Having some fun before it was...
Cake Time!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday To You! Happy Birthday To You! Happy Birthday Dear Tyler! Happy Birthday To You!
Everyone had such a great time!!! But it was time to head back and open some presents!!!
Present time!!!
Proud sis, got her brother a camera! She's become quite the photographer, which I love!!!
Pool time! Spider man style!!!
You'd think this was dress up time, but it wasn't! That's just how our girl rolls! Hahaha!!! And we got an extra special dessert created by the one and only Lauren! They were delicious!!!
Such an awesome way to celebrate Tyler turning the big 4!!! Happy Birthday Dude! We love you!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE PAUL!!!
This wasn't just a birthday, this was Uncle Paul's 30th Birthday!!! He's the BIG 30!
And for that, he got spoiled! With massages...
food...
a bit of sleep...
presents...
double stuffed Oreos and Fruit Pie!!!!!
And a little help blowing out his candle! Happy 30th Birthday Uncle Paul!!! We had such a great time celebrating with you and love you so so much!!!
AQUARIUM!!!
While Grandpa was at work, Grandma decided to take us all to the Aquarium!!! Goodness knows I was excited about this idea as well since I love aquariums!!!
Apparently Eric didn't know there was a line for the touch tank! Or, he did, and was just smart not to wait in it! Hahaha!!!
The last time we were here, Lauren was about Sara's age, so it was so much fun to go back with the four of them!!!
This was my favorite part, it literally feels like you are under the sea!
Though you are quickly reminded, and thankful, that there is glass between you and these teeth! I mean seriously!!!
It took a long time to move onto the next section! They were having too much fun running through the mist!
That was just a warm up for what awaited them outside...a real water park!!!
Something tells me this was the kids favorite part of the aquarium! Hahaha!
While we dried off, we relaxed to a very special treat...Skittles for the kiddos and Snickers for us! Thank you so much for the amazing day Grandma!!! It was a blast indeed!!!
LAVA LAMPS!!!
When we got home, Grandma decided to show us a cool trick she learned! We made our very own lava lamps!!!
Sara got to make her favorite color, Blue! And Eric made his favorite color, Red!
Such a great idea and fun little project! They loved them!!!
GRANDPA'S HOME!!!
Later that night when Grandpa came home, we decided to take a walk to the dock to try and catch some fish!
Unfortunately we didn't catch any, but that's OK! It really wasn't about the fish anyway! Though it would have been pretty cool!
On our walk back, Eric found his very own fishing rod!
HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!
The dock is the place to be on the 4th of July!!! So many places around put on a fire work show, that you can just sit back, enjoy the breeze, and watch them all from one place! And that's just what we did!
It was super hard to get photos of everything since it was so dark out!
But Grandma sure did try her best! "Mom, you have to make sure you are very still!", "Ok Jen, here you go. I didn't move a bit!" Ummmm, sorry Mom, but these streaks say otherwise! Hahaha!
This was attempt 100! The first 99 didn't even take! She'd think the camera was taking the photo, yet, it was still trying to focus! Boy did we have a good laugh over this!!!
GOLFING!!!
For the longest time now, we've been trying to get down to the driving range so Grandma can show us how much she's improved! This time, nothing was going to stop us! Not even these dark clouds!
OK, maybe they did! But not for too long. We decided to head inside and wait the storm out...with lots of drinks...
lots and lots of drinks! Grandpa misjudged just a bit! Hahaha!
We have no clue how Sara got her paci since she only gets it when she sleeps, but while we had it, we decided to see if she liked soda! You know, since we had plenty to spare!
Her paci took a little dip in the soda, and she did not appreciate it one bit! Hmmmm, maybe this would be a good way of breaking her of it! Hahaha!
Once the storm passed, though it doesn't look as if it did, we headed outside to see what Grandma was all about!
Boy oh boy was she right! Time after time her golf ball flew through the air!!! She was even surprising herself with how well she was doing!!! Way to go Grandma!!!
Grandpa's golf balls went so fast and far they were hard to follow! Hahaha!
Even Eric decided to give it a go! Don't ask us how, but surprisingly he hit them really far even through his grip is all wrong! Hahaha!
And Sara, she had a great time trying to steal a golf cart and playing hide and seek!
Such a great day! Waiting out the storm was the best idea!
As was staying the week! We had such a great time celebrating birthdays, checking out some cool fish, learning to golf and fish, and most importantly, spending time with one another!!! Thanks for a great week!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!
