New Years Day!!!

The next morning we had a nice relaxing time! We stayed in our pj's and played with our toys from the day before!

Dr. Lauren wrote Daddy out a prescription. She did a great job! Best part, when filling it out she asked Daddy what his "parents" names were. She doesn't know it, but she misread the tricky word, "patients" as "parents". Mommy and Daddy keep it on the fridge because it makes me them smile!

We also watched some movies!

And filled our bellies with some yummy food!

It was the only way we were going to have enough energy for this years, GRAND FINALE!!!!!

Grandpa and Sara played in her new house that Grandma and Grandpa got us for Christmas!

While the rest of us walked around like Chickens trying to make some money!!!

Let me introduce you to, Competitive Couple #1 and Competitive Couple #2!

Each year the Grand Finale goes off without a hitch. This year however, there was a hitch or two!

Hitch #1. This game started off with three teams! And only ended with two teams. The third team, A.K.A., Mommy and Daddy, crashed within the first two seconds of the race and Mommy's foot was cut open!

Hitch #2. Because of this crash, the ref, A.K.A., Grandma, was distracted and did not see who won. Competitive Couple #1 or Competitive Couple #2! Competitive Couple #1 swears it was them, while Competitive Couple #2 swears it was them! This lead to an interesting situation! Who was the real winner...we will never know! For they both swear it was them!

My guess would be Auntie Lisa and Uncle Wes won, but this is really just a joke. Mommy wanted me to say that to see how long it would take Uncle Paul to call her on the phone to yell at her for that statement!

Next game, $25,000 Pyramid!

This was one of Mommy's favorite shows when she was younger! So many times she wondered how some people couldn't guess the answer because she thought it was so easy! Well, she has since learned it was easy because she was staring at the answers at the bottom of the screen! This game was hard without seeing the answers!!!

Next up...Pasta Hair!!!

We had a great time with this one! You had to stick a pound of pasta in your teammates hair the fastest! Grandma and Cousin Lauren won this one! They did a great job!!!

Though we will never truly know who won the race out on the street, New Years Day and the Grand Finale was a fantastic time had by all. That's one thing we can certainly all agree on!!!!
