What's better than a day at the zoo...a day at the zoo with Grandma!!!
During Daddy's Spring Break we took some time and went to Grandma and Grandpa's house! One of those days we decided to go to the zoo! Coolest part was, Grandma recently retired so she was able to come and have fun with us!!!
We got to see so many really cool animals!!! This wild cat had some really sharp teeth!!! Sara, what did you think of the wild cat!?! Hahaha! Though she may be turned, she did get to see all the animals! :)
"Look! It's a real turtle!" The quote of the day came from Grandma! For some reason she thought the turtle was a statue, and when it moved, those words came out of her mouth even though we were at a zoo! Hahahaha! Yes, it took us awhile to stop laughing after that one!!!
Sara and I got to meet a lot of cool friends!
And even got to see a baby Rhino!
Hmmm, where should we head next...
...to the Monkeys!!! We spent so much time watching these amazing guys! They were super active, swinging from rope to rope, and playing around with one another! This made them so much fun to watch! We loved them!!!
Daddy and I rode a roller coaster, however, it was a bit too jerky! I didn't seem to mind all that much, but Daddy said I was getting bumped around a lot so we decided not to go on again until I was a little older.
Lama Lama Red Pajama is one of our favorite books, so it was really cool to get to meet one in person! I had fun running around outside, while Sara and Mommy went inside to meet all the Lama's up close! Sara loved them!!!
Another really cool animal we got to meet...the Giraffes! They were amazing! Like the monkeys, they too were very awake and very active. We got to see them running which was a lot of fun to see, and we even got to feed one of them! Boy of boy did they have long tongues!!!
Such a fun day spent meeting a bunch of really cool animals!!! They were all very awake and active which made them so much fun to watch! Definitely a memorable one!!! Thanks for taking us Grandma!!! We love you!!!
