Memorial Day Weekend!

Happy 90th Birthday Great Gramma!!!

Memorial Day weekend we drove to MA to have lunch with a very special lady...Great Gramma! It was her 90th Birthday!!!

Not only was this a special day because she was turning 90, but it was also her first time meeting Sara!

After our bellies were full, we took a couple family pictures before we headed back to Gramma's house to fill our bellies some more. This time, with Birthday Cake!!!

Happy Birthday To You!
Happy Birthday To You!
Happy Birthday Dear Gramma!
Happy Birthday To You!!!!!

We love you soooooooooooooooooo much Gramma!!! Happy Birthday!!!

Since it would have been a pretty long day for us to drive there and back in one day, and because Daddy is the most thoughtful husband ever, we all spent a couple days in CT (where Mommy and Daddy used to live) for Mommy's early birthday present!

Since Mommy and Daddy love visiting here so much, I've seen it a few times, but this was Sara's first. So we were sure to show her where Mommy and Daddy used to work!

We were also sure to stop and get ice cream. Well, a cone full of gummy bears that is. Since I am the only two year old who doesn't like ice cream!

The next morning Daddy surprised us yet again, and we headed to a farm! We had such a great time together!

Sara made some special friends along the way! The goats loved her! :)

And the best part of all...I GOT TO SEE A ROOSTER!!!

As I was visiting my rooster friend, this sheep came running up to us for some of our food. Mommy was a bit freaked out at first, since it was on the loose, but a nice lady who worked there said a sheep is friendlier than the friendliest doggy!

We came at a perfect time to visit! This HUGE Mommy pig...

...had some awfully cute piglets! They were only two weeks old!

What better way to end our day at the farm than a picture of Sara in the flowers! Note to Mommy: Next time don't put so much sun screen in Sara's hair!

Later that night, I once again got to see why Mommy and Daddy always stay at this once particular hotel. It was BASKETBALL TIME!!!

And what better way to cool off from a good game of ball...JUMP IN THE POOL!!!

I loved coming out of the water and dripping all the water on Sara. She seemed to enjoy it as well. So we decided to give the whole swimming thing another shot...

...and she LOVED it!!! Full outfit and all! :)

Sara pretty much sums up how we spent our Monday morning!

We woke up to a perfect thunderstorm! So it was snuggles in bed watching TV, until it was time to head home. But before we did, we got to go see, Kung Fu Panda II. Sara and I sat and watched the entire movie! We Loved It!!!

Happy Birthday Gramma! And thank you Daddy! What a beautiful way to spend such a speical Holiday Weekend!
