Yesterday was a big day in the Downs Fam house! Sara Bean, or as Daddy calls her, Miss's, or as Eric calls her, Baby, decided it was time to roll over!
The day before Sara decided to roll over she had her 6 month checkup. When the Dr. asked if she was rolling over yet, I explained she was close, but never really turns all the way. I had zero concern with this answer, but the Dr. did say, "We'll keep an eye on her muscle tone". Again, thinking nothing of it, I left feeling really blessed with how well Sara was doing. Then it hit me, "What if her muscles aren't strong in her legs because of her birthmark". Needless to say, I started to worry just a bit, even though the specialist a week before told us everything was perfect and there's nothing to worry about! Silly Mommy!
Nothing like good ole Daddy to calm me down. And our amazing friends Rich and Christine! They listened to me worry, and did nothing but be amazing at easing my mind! To top it off, Christine recommended a great cookbook to help add some variety to Eric's diet! It was, what we like to call, a Fournier Fam helps the Downs Fam out kinda week! hahaha! Thanks again guys!!!
and, WAY TO GO SARA!!!!

You are too funny. And Maddie still has no interest in rolling....maybe we need to get the girls together so Sara can teach her. Christian had a field trip to the fire station and there was a movie on fire safety and stop, drop and roll. I told Maddie she better start because she can't do that! :)
Yay Sara!!!!!
Christine- your stop drop and roll made me laugh out loud at work!
And I have to agree, these girls need to get together! First, because it's been too long. Second, has Maddie started to eat any baby cracker or puff? If so, she will need to teach Sara! We tried a puff with her the other night...let's just say we'll be waiting a weeeeeeee bit longer before we try that again! hahaha!
What a great moment!!!!Way to go Sara!!!!
