Family Fun Day!!!

It wasn't quite, Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My! But it was Firetrucks, Free Food, Raffles, and Bears, Oh My!

We met Grandma and Grandpa at a work convention for the day! And what a fun filled day it was!

We were super excited to see the bears they had there! We got to see them play basketball, drink Mountain Dew, and take a bath! They were very silly bears!

And we were also more than excited to check out the firetrucks they had there!

While we were checking out the trucks, Mommy was holding her raffle ticket hoping they'd call her number! They had TV's all the way down to garden plants! She didn't care what she got, she just wanted something! And she got...nothing! Numbers all around hers got called, but not hers! Hahaha!

What a fun day filling our bellies and spending time with one another! :)

Sara Elizabeth Is 18 Months Old!!!

(She's actually 20 months now, but I'm playing catch up and this is when she turned 18 months!)

SUCH A BIG HEART!!!
When thinking of Sara, the very first thing that comes to mind is just how big her heart is! At such a young age, it's pretty amazing just how caring she is! It goes beyond the random hugs and kisses you will get throughout the day. Though those are amazing, it goes much deeper than that.

If she thinks someone is hurt/sad, she too will cry and will be very scared for that person/bug. She will usually tap her head as she is crying, as if to ask, "Are they hurt?"  (since that's usually where she hurts when she falls and bumps her head)  It breaks our heart to see because she really is scared/concerned, but at the same time, it's pretty amazing to watch because of how concerned she is. Such a big heart! And we love every ounce of it!

Here she is trying to make Eric feel better in timeout!

MONSTERS INC.
Her favorite movie is Monsters Inc.! She loves walking around the house after a bath and roaring like a monster when she gets the monster towel!

In the video below you'll see just how much she loves the movie! She is hysterical to watch the first 10 minutes with! She acts out being scared each and every time! It cracks us up!!!

BEST LAUGH EVER!!!
You can't help but laugh when she laughs! Eric is best at getting her going, and boy does she get going! It's hysterical, and pretty impossible not to laugh along with her!

SILLY GIRL!
If she's not cracking us up, she's cracking herself up! She has so much fun in everything she does!

GIRLY GIRL!
Sara Bean is a big girly girl! She will carry anything over her arm that resembles a purse! And she loves to shop!

Below is a video of her shopping and she's not joking! She loves to flip through the cloths and will often say "pi-ty" (pretty) for the things she likes!

DIRTY GIRL!
At the same time, the Mrs. has no problem hanging with her brother in the dirt! She is hard core! She looks up to him so much and loves throwing rocks with him, splashing through the rain puddles with him, and exploring different bugs with him!

FASHION INDUSTRY!
To say she might have her hand in the fashion industry when she gets older wouldn't be far off. In the past 3 or so months there hasn't been a day where she hasn't sat in front of her dresser trying on her cloths. She will put layer on top of layer. At times her arms will end up in the leg holes and legs in the arms, but it doesn't matter to her, she loves cloths!!!

Below is a video of her putting on her own shoes! For the longest time I thought I was losing my mind. Her shoes would be on the wrong feet and I wondered how it was I did that. Well, I didn't! She had learned how to take them off and put them back on herself! And now she hardly ever gets the left and right foot confused! Such a big girl!

SARA LOVES:
-Chocolate! Loves might actually be an understatement!
-Brushing her teeth!
-Washing her hands!
-Playing in the pool!
-Coloring! She says the colors Boo (blue) and Greee (green)
-Hanging out with her brother!
-Shoving all the pieces of food left on her plate in her mouth and hands before you get her out of her highchair, though she's the one who asked to get up!
-Pulling off her diaper. Recently she's been much better, but there was a phase (when she saw Eric doing it to go pee pee on the potty) where it was happening 3 times a day!
-Watching videos on our phones that we take of both her and Eric!
-Dogs! Or as Sara says, Buh-Buh!

These videos are more recent, but she loves to do puzzles...

and ride bikes with Eric! (Though she's riding bikes around Eric's bike in this video!)

SARA DOES NOT LOVE:
-When you take something out of her hands! If you ask, she gladly passes whatever it is to you, if you don't, she has no problem telling you she's not happy with what you just did! I have to say I don't blame her on that one!
-Having the water poured over her head to get the soap out at bathtime. She will stand up and run to the corner of the tub each and every time!
-Listening! On things that are serious she is usually pretty good, but on things that she thinks is a game, like getting in her car seat, you usually have to ask several times and when she finally gets in, she laughs as if it was a game the entire time!
-Wearing hair clips! She will pull them straight out of her hair :( Good news, she's learned to fix her own hair, so she now knows how to push it out of her eyes! It's very cute to watch!

Dear Sara,

Daddy,Eric and I couldn't be more in love with you! From the way you stomp your feet up and down with excitement and say, "yeay" when you are excited about something, to your pouty duck lips when you are not too happy with something. We are in love with every bit of it, and everything that comes between the two!!! Thank you for the constant laughs, for knowing what you want, and for having the biggest heart ever! Thank you for being the silly girl you are! WE LOVE YOU BABY GIRL, SARA BEAN, MRS.!!!

Love,
Mommy, Daddy and Eric!!!

A Day At The Zoo!!!

What's better than a day at the zoo...a day at the zoo with Grandma!!!

During Daddy's Spring Break we took some time and went to Grandma and Grandpa's house! One of those days we decided to go to the zoo! Coolest part was, Grandma recently retired so she was able to come and have fun with us!!!

We got to see so many really cool animals!!! This wild cat had some really sharp teeth!!! Sara, what did you think of the wild cat!?! Hahaha! Though she may be turned, she did get to see all the animals! :)

"Look! It's a real turtle!" The quote of the day came from Grandma! For some reason she thought the turtle was a statue, and when it moved, those words came out of her mouth even though we were at a zoo! Hahahaha! Yes, it took us awhile to stop laughing after that one!!!

Sara and I got to meet a lot of cool friends!

And even got to see a baby Rhino!

Hmmm, where should we head next...

...to the Monkeys!!! We spent so much time watching these amazing guys! They were super active, swinging from rope to rope, and playing around with one another! This made them so much fun to watch! We loved them!!!

Daddy and I rode a roller coaster, however, it was a bit too jerky! I didn't seem to mind all that much, but Daddy said I was getting bumped around a lot so we decided not to go on again until I was a little older.

Lama Lama Red Pajama is one of our favorite books, so it was really cool to get to meet one in person! I had fun running around outside, while Sara and Mommy went inside to meet all the Lama's up close! Sara loved them!!!

Another really cool animal we got to meet...the Giraffes! They were amazing! Like the monkeys, they too were very awake and very active. We got to see them running which was a lot of fun to see, and we even got to feed one of them! Boy of boy did they have long tongues!!!

Such a fun day spent meeting a bunch of really cool animals!!! They were all very awake and active which made them so much fun to watch! Definitely a memorable one!!! Thanks for taking us Grandma!!! We love you!!!

Will You Marry Me!!!

Uncle Paul And Kelly Are Engaged!!!

On January 21, 2012, Uncle Paul asked, "Will You Marry Me?!?" and Kelly replied with, "YES!!!"

Uncle Paul had let Mommy and everyone else know his plan days before the big day, so when the big day finally came, you could imagine just how excited everyone was!

After what seemed like forever, Uncle Paul finally called and told everyone the great news...she said YES! We all headed to the mall to meet up with them and congratulate them in person :)

There were hugs to be shared, and gifts to be given!

Like a Woodbury University sweatshirt! What better gift, since that will be her new last name!!!

Or how about some dance lessons! The future Bride was super excited about this! The future Groom, well he's already blushing just thinking about it! :)

Kiss! Kiss! It was time for the future Bride and Groom to head out and catch their dinner reservations!

Engagement Pictures!
We all got to the restaurant just a bit early so Mommy could take some engagement photos of Uncle Paul and Kelly! She's never really done this before so she didn't quite know what to tell them to do, but they all had a great time figuring it out together!

Paul and Kelly! We couldn't be happier for the two of you!!! All I can say is... Kelly, thank goodness you curled your hair that day! It's made all of us very happy! Love you both!!!
