And who was it that made that announcement...this special man!!!
"You guys should come over for some dinner!" That's how it all came about! Little did we know, Maura's homemade veggie lasagna wasn't the only treat they had for us! While sitting out on the front porch, enjoying each others company, they asked Paul if he would do the honor of officiating their wedding! This meant the world to Paul!!!
The day had finally come! In September we took a couple days and flew up North to be part of such a special day! Though I must admit, even though Eric and Sara had such a fun stay planned with Grandma and Grandpa, leaving them was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. And not a minute went by that I wasn't thinking of them!
REHEARSAL!
When you're in someones wedding, this day is usually important to attend. However, when you are officiating the entire wedding, it's VERY important you attend! It was all starting to become very real! Hahaha!
If rehearsal was this much fun and this beautiful, we could only imagine what the big day was going to be like! And we couldn't wait!!!

But first, it was time to fill our bellies with delicious food, celebrate a special birthday, and receive bags and bags and bags of candy! But most importantly, toast to a beautiful couple!

Such a beautiful day, and an even more beautiful ceremony! And though Paul told Joe and Maura to turn and face one another, though they were already doing so, I couldn't be more proud of my officiating husband! He put SO much work and SO much thought into his every word of marring them! It was beautifully and full heartedly done, just like everything he does in life!

Well, we couldn't have imagined things going any better than they did! Such a beautiful day witnessing such a beautiful couple marry one another!
Jeff, Joe, and Eric mean the world to Paul! They met as friends, and have become brothers! The fact that Paul got to just officiate the wedding and marry one of them, means the world to him!!! And the fact that we both got to be part of such a special union, means the world to us!
Dina, you were there with us each and every second of the day! I heard you laughing at Paul when he went to raise the stand during the ceremony and the top came off, and I saw you dancing on that dance floor with Paul to Hey Ya! And it was you I saw walking down with Jeff hoping you wouldn't trip in your heels in front of everyone. We love you, and miss you!
