Hey kids, are you ready for our annual Easter Egg hunt?!?! YEEEESSSSSS!!!
After a little horse back riding, it was...
On your mark!....Get set!...Go!!!!!!!!!
Afterward their baskets were filled to the top with different colored eggs! Each one holding a little surprise!
When looking at Sara's basket, it was very easy to tell what her favorite color is! She stuck to the blue eggs! :)
Family time!
After running off some calories, it was time to put some back in our bodies!
Just the year before, it was here Uncle Paul and Auntie Kelly announced that they wanted us to be in their wedding. This year, they arrived back from their two week honeymoon just the day before! :)
These kids were not only amazed to see the Easter bunny dancing, they found it to be down right hysterical!!!
Petting Zoo time! Cousin Lauren closed this place down! If it were a bar they would have flashed the lights on her about a hundred times! She LOVES animals! It's so cute seeing her excitement!
Play time!
Though this might not be the nicest thing I've ever said...I can't help but laugh when I look at these pictures! Though they are scared, their faces crack me up!
And just like that a few minutes later and they were loving hanging out in the tree!
Afterward we decided to continue in the Easter spirit and head to Auntie Lisa's house for some bunny cake and egg decorating!!!
Sara had a blast showing Uncle Wes her favorite movie The Little Mermaid! And yes, Mommy had a good laugh watching him participate in this movie watching!
We all know driveways aren't for parking, but more so for racing down! So that's just what they did! With the occasional, fall down!
Eric has been super into, what eats what. Do sharks eat fish? What do crocodiles eat?
So, when he found out Grandma ate squid, he was in complete disbelief! "Grandma, do you REALLY eat squid?" Only way to prove it, was to show him first hand!
Clearly we aren't a big fish eating family, because his reaction to Grandma cooking one up to eat, was classic!
HAPPY EASTER!!!
The next morning they were SO excited to see the Easter Bunny visited them!!! (Yes, Sara wakes up with some SERIOUS bed head!!!)
They had so much fun running from hidden Easter Egg to hidden Easter Egg! And we had as much fun watching them and their excitement!
Easter Family Dinner! Brings a smile to my face!
Later in the day Uncle Wes invited us to his Grandpa's lake house. To say the least, it was such a wonderful place to be. It stretched for acres and acres, and was the most peaceful place to be. Not a bit of stress was felt in the air. Needless to say, we loved it there! Especially on a day like Easter, a perfect day to take in the beauty!
The kids had an amazing time as well! They loved feeding the cows! And even made friends with a couple of them! They took a ride on a cart around the land and got to see horses! They even took a ride on the horse swing! And they had all the land in the world to run around on! It was a place for them to be completely care free! It was perfect!
Such a wonderful Easter weekend! Simply, wonderful!

Eric's face when he's hanging in the tree is the same face he had when you hung up on that pole!!
