Mimi and Grampa!!!
What better way to end the month of July...visiting Mimi and Grampa!!!
FIRE HOUSE!As if getting to go to Mimi and Grampa's wasn't enough of a surprise, Mimi and Grampa took them to visit the local fire house!
They couldn't be more excited! They got to try on hats, play with the water hose, sit in the driver seat, and climb all the way to the top of the huge firetruck!
All the firemen and EMT were so nice to show us all their cool trucks! We were sure to thank them for everything they do with some high fives!
AMUSEMENT PARK!!!
Turns out, the surprises didn't end there! The next day Mimi and Grampa took us to this really cool place with tons of fun rides for us to go on!
We were so excited to see the game room had an Ice Age game for everyone to play!!! So cool!
First ride...The Water Tubes!
I'm not sure who had the most fun on this ride...the kids or the adults! It was so much fun squirting water at each other! And if you didn't get wet enough doing that, no worries, the water falls were sure to make up for it!
Next up...Super Fast Cars!
Eric was beyond excited to go riding with Grampa! They went super fast and had so much fun turning the corners! And we had so much fun cheering on our racers!
Next up...Choo! Choo!
We slowed things down a bit and took a nice ride on the choo choo train! Since Eric was such a great race car driver, he figured, why not drive a train!
He was a great train conductor, though, he spent most his time checking out the mechanics and wheels of the train, rather than looking straight ahead! And Sara Bean had a great time with Mimi riding in the caboose!
There were just a few rides Sara Bean couldn't go on. But have no fear...
She was finally tall enough to go on...FROG HOPPER!!!
She's been waiting a long time to have her turn on this ride! The past two parks we've been to had a height requirement that was taller than her, but she was finally tall enough!!!
To say they had fun riding it would be an understatement! And to say we had fun listening to their excitement, would also be an understatement! We can watch this video 100 times...and we have!!!
Though Daddy loves this ride, it doesn't necessarily mean he loves getting strapped in! Hahaha!
And last but not least...Roller Coaster Time!!!
These roller coaster buddies had a great time checking out this roller coaster! So much so, they went again, and again!

SNAIL TIME!
All the rain caused snails, big and small, to come out of their hiding spots. Eric and Sara were very happy about this, Grandpa on the other hand, not so much! Hahaha!
SPLASH PARK!!!
Now that Eric and Sara are more comfortable with the water, they had tons of fun splashing at the splash park!
As we were walking from one side of the park to the other, we came across these bikes and just had to give them a try!
Afterward, not only were our leg muscles hurting, but so were our cheek muscles! We literally spent the entire time laughing hysterically! They were so much fun! Yet, as we found out the hard way, they are not the easiest thing to make a u-turn with! Hahaha!

Later that night, we took a ride down the octopus and pretended to be pirates!
