Christmas Holiday!...Christmas Day!!!

After playing with our new toys all morning...

it was time to put them aside for a minute so we could get ready for the day! Thanks to Great Uncle John, Sara had a very pretty Christmas dress to wear!!!

Grammie got some cool reading glasses from Uncle Steve and Auntie Maria! They light up so she can even read in the dark!

And since Mommy drinks mostly water, she had no idea how big these wine glasses where when she bought them for Grammie! But no worries, that didn't stop anyone from using them!

It didn't take long before we had a wardrobe change! It was time to break out the swim suites!

Once we were raisins from playing in the water for so long, it was time for yet another wardrobe change! So we decided it was a great time to get a family photo!

Yankee Swap time!!! Grammie had a great idea to have a Yankee Swap this year! Boy oh boy were there some laughs!!!

I was a great helper in opening presents!

Halfway through playing the game, Sara and I were beginning to see why they called it the Yankee "Swap"!

Auntie The Great picked a perfect gift! A handmade necklace made by Gina! Hmmmm, something tells me it won't be around her neck for very long!!!

Uh-Oh! Grammie comes in for the steal!!! (Though she's a very nice sister and wound up giving it back after the game was over!)

Pajama Jeans!!! Leave it to my Daddy to buy these as a gift!!! He thought it would be funny to hide money in the pocket and not tell anyone. He knew whoever opened them would most likely trade them off quickly (except Auntie!) and when the game was over, he wanted the person who got them to be surprised money was in them! His plan worked perfectly!!!

Auntie Maria was quick to trade! And who wound up with the pajama jeans...GRAMPA!!! Hahahaha!!! Daddy's plan couldn't have worked out better!!!

And it seems as though Cousin Jess had a drink out of Grammie's new big wine glasses...she thought the letters she received were supposed to spell LIMES instead of SMILE! Hahahahaha!!!

Gina was awesome enough to bring some fresh meat from her parents farm back in Kansas City. Needless to say, it didn't take long for it to all be gone!

What a perfect way to end the fun filled day then unwinding to the movie Rio...

putting on some cozy pj's, and putting together an alphabet puzzle with Grammie and Gandpa!!!

Not only was Christmas morning perfect, but the whole day was!!!

LIMES, SLIME, MILES...yeah, I got everything but SMILE. And, yes, the bloody mary in that giant glass may have contributed. :-)
