Oh Christmas Tree! Oh Christmas Tree!

To say Sara and I were excited to help put up our Christmas tree would be a huge understatement!

We started off with just lights, and saved our ornament hanging until we each picked out our special 2011 Christmas ornament!

Next it was time to decorate the outside! We kept it simple this year, a candy cane for each of us with some lights. But big or small it didn't matter, each time we'd pull up to the house, we'd get so excited to see our lights! We loved them!

Ornament hanging time! This year I picked out a Firetruck ornament and Sara pick out a Snowman!!!

Each year, while decorating the Christmas tree, Mommy and Daddy would always watch Home Alone. This year however, Sara and I started our own tradition! We were old enough to know what we wanted to watch, and it was Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer!Mommy and Daddy loved the idea of us picking out our Christmas tree decorating show!

We both love the show!!! We were once out to dinner and I kept telling the man next to us (complete stranger) to "EAT! EAT!" Mommy and Daddy had no idea why I was doing this. Later they heard Mrs. Claus telling Santa to "Eat! Eat!" and suddenly it made sense to them! And Sara especially loved the song, We Are Santa's Elves! She would stop everything she was doing and dance the second it would come on! She cracked us all up each and every time!

We are so glad Christmas happens once a year! What a wonderful feeling it brings!
