The family decided to get together and head to Lego Land! We were heading in different directions for Thanksgiving, so it worked out nice to get together with everyone. It also worked out nicely that Grandma and Grandpa surprised us with this being part of the Grand Finale, so the trip was on them!

ISLAND IN THE SKY!
The crew was pretty split on the first ride. Grandma and Cousin Lauren thought it would be fun! Myself and Auntie Lisa, we'd prefer to keep our feet on the ground, not 18 stories in the air!

Hmmmm, who's missing from this picture! That would be Grandma..."Oh wait, this thing spins! I'm out! I'm not getting sick!" Not cool Grandma! Not cool!

Auntie Lisa's reaction after being told we needed to separate from one another due to weight distribution! WHAT!?!

So, we've got Grandma enjoying herself safely down on the ground, myself and Auntie Lisa sweating bullets due to nerves, and now there are 100 wasps swarming around so Daddy is holding back from screaming like a girl!

PHEW! Back safely on the ground! At least the kids had a blast! Hahaha! Ahhh, now here's a ride we can all agree on...
THE GRAND CAROUSEL!

YUM! YUM!
What a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch it was indeed! We hooked ourselves up with the famous Apple Fries and the food in the park cafe was surprisingly delicious!

MINILAND USA!
States like Florida, New York, and Vegas were all made out of Legos!

TEST TRACK!
The next stop...Lauren's first roller coaster! Here she is scoping things out with a butterfly or two in that belly of hers!

Not only was Lauren going on...but very brave Grandma was as well!

First up...Paul and Kelly! They made it look easy compared to the next crew about to come down!

In this cart you'll find, Uncle Wes, Daddy, screaming her head off Grandma, and in the back, believe it or not, there's Lauren! Hahaha!

If you look closly, Lauren finally peaked her head up, and Grandma couldn't catch her breath she was laughing so hard!

The troops on the bottom were ready for naps...

...but not Eric!
TECHNICYCLE!
He was so excited to ride his first ever 'real' ride! He did such a great job! And had such a great time!

Turns out Lauren had a blast on her first rolleroaster! So she went again! This time you could actually see her! And hear her Mommy! Turns out she screams louder than Grandma!

DRIVING SCHOOL!
Not only did Cousin Lauren get to take a driving class, but she got to take what she leared to the streets! Best part, she got her drivers license!!!

One person who wished she had a car driving her around...Kelly! Not only was she walking around the park all day, but earlier that day she ran a half marathon!!! What a trooper!!!

JR. DRIVING SCHOOL!
Up next...the boys!!! They couldn't wait to put the pedal to the metal!

Tyler was off to a great start!

Eric on the other hand...well...

But wait! Out of no where Eric comes from behind and takes the lead!

It's a close one ladies and gents!

And the winner is...Tyler! Truth was, he lapped Eric about 10 times, it was never a close race! Hahaha! You may ask, "If he won, then why the tears?" Well Tyler, at just the age of 3, is a race car driver at heart! He was very concerned if he won the race or not!

His very first words when we asked what was wrong..."I don't know if I won!" Hahaha! So adorable!

ICECREAM BREAK!!!
No one is quite sure why Auntie Lisa posed like this...not even she knows! Hahaha!

FLYING SCHOOL!!!
Since everyone learned how to drive, we figured we might as well learn how to fly!

In the picture below cousin Lauren was explaining: "Daddy, sometimes I get scared riding the roller coaster, but I just pretend the bars holding me in are you hugging me!"

RESCUE ACADEMY!
While Sara was off flirting with some hot Lego firemen...

These guys were busy stradigizing! The kids were SO excited to ride the firetuck and police truck, however, make this ride a race between this crew, and adult competitiveness takes over!

Indroducing...Team W/D vs. Team T

And they're off! Well, at least Team T is! Team W/D is stuck at the gate! (If they were to listen to Kelly and swtich their gear to drive, they'd be better off!)

The following pictures are good examples of the kids getting the boot and the adults taking over! Lauren was the first victim!

Tyler and Eric were the next! If you look closely, you'll see a crying Tyler to your left, and a very confused Eric to your right!

Team W/D came from behind and took the tile!

I'm not sure we've ever laughed so hard! Such a fun ride! For the adults anyway! Hahaha!
THE BIG TEST!
Afterward, we got to learn how to put fires out by watching this show filled with silly jokes, songs, and lots of tricks!

FAMILY PHOTO!!!
Since we were all together, we figured it would be a great time to take a family photo!

COASTERSAURUS!!!
The "Screamers" of the group had a great time on another coaster!

PHARAOH'S REVENGE!
The idea of this huge ball pit was a blast for the kids, but Mommy was out of there in two second when she got pelted by a ball from up above!

ROYAL JOUST!
Lauren had a blast riding on this ride. Her exact words to Auntie Lisa as she rode on by, "Mommy, I thought this ride was going to be boring, but it's a lot of FUN!"

THE FORESTMEN'S HIDEOUT!
What's a park, without a great playground!

JUNIOR FIRE ACADEMY!
Just as we thought we were done with the rides for the day, we found this awesome one on the way to dinner! This time, the "kids" actually got to fight the fire...the adults just sat back and enjoyed the show! hahahaha!

Sara being the absolute cutie that she is!

DINNER TIME!
The kids had a great time building Lego towers as dinner was being ordered!

POTTY BREAK!!!
Auntie Lisa pulled a fast one on Uncle Wes and left him in the bathroom to take care of both kids! Classic moment!!! Hahahaha!

What an amazing day! We talked about it the entire car ride home, and for days after! The park is small enough that it wasn't extrememly crowded, the rides were very creative, the kids and adults had such a great time, and most of all, we were with family!
Thanks so much Grandma and Grandpa for treating us all to such a memorable day!
