Florida!!! Fort Myers!

We were so excited to pull up to Grammie and Grampa's house, and the feeling was mutual! They were waiting outside with lots of hugs and kisses!

Quickly after saying our hellos, we ran inside to see all the beautiful work they have done on the house!

We went from room to room, one was better than the next! But in the end, we all decided the best room of all was Auntie's! Not only was it beautiful, but AUNTIE was standing there! Best Surprise Ever!!!

It didn't take long before we took full advantage of the pool!!!

Eric had the time of his life playing with Grampa! He also loved looking at the "sleeping" frogs that got pulled into the pool filter. We can thank Auntie for showing him that one!

Sara on the other hand, she enjoyed sitting poolside with Grammie! She loves her bath time, but didn't care one bit for her pool time! The water temperature wasn't quite to her liking. So she did what us girls do best, relax in the sun and girl talk!

That night, we all got dressed up, well, Auntie did, to head to a restaurant she suggested. Two minutes into the drive, both Eric and Sara fell asleep from their HUGE day of travel. So, we turned around and headed home! Sorry Auntie!!! You looked beautiful in your new dress!!!

As you can see, we still had a great time even though we had to eat in!

The next morning it was off the the most amazing park ever! There were boats to ride, tons of different park areas, blow up slides, trains, family size bikes to ride, and water fountains!

Like Sara, Eric loves his bath time! Not to mention, he loves splashing in puddles! But what he doesn't like, is for a splash to hit his face or water to go over his head, like a shower. So unfortunately, the fountains were not his thing! We tried, but it just wasn't happening. Sad too, I think he would have had fun playing with the other boy who was as pale as him! Haha!

So it was off to the playgrounds! Yeah!

Next stop, the MEGA slide!

First up, Eric and Daddy! Next, Eric and Grampa! This time however, Eric came down on his own! Once he was down the first thing out of his mouth was, "m-oooooo-re! So down he went again! However, though he wanted more, we decided twice was enough since the slide was 100 X's his size! But before we headed out, Auntie had to give it a try!

Since we were going to give dinner another try, we decided to call it a day before the kids got too tired. But not before stopping to see the train! We figured it was a must with the hat Grammie got him!

As we were waiting for everyone to get ready for dinner, Eric did what he did for hours upon hours during our stay...threw rocks! He'd love to throw them in the bush and say, "Where'd it go?!?" His red bucket carried his very special, "ice rocks!" that Grammie gave him. These rocks weren't like all the others, these we'd retrieve once he was done throwing them and load them back in his bucket for the next time...which was 5 minutes later! Haha!

And since the kids were looking so adorable in their little dress up outfits, we decided to snap some pics of them!

SUCCESS! We made it to the restaurant without the kids falling asleep!!! It's a good thing too, not only was it a blast, but the food was delicious!

And the waitresses did their dance special just for Eric! He LOVED it, but was too shy to go out and join them! I'm sure there will come a day where he'll regret that! Haha!

The next day we were sad to drive to Ft. Lauderdale to drop Auntie off at the airport :( Thankfully it wasn't until later in the day, so we were able to load up on sunblock and spend the day walking the strip!

When we got home we had to do something fun to take our minds off of Auntie being high up in the airplane...so we went swimming!

There's a frog in the pool! There's a frog in the pool! And this time he's not sleeping! Eric had a blast going to touch it, and would laugh hysterically when it would jump towards him!

The next day as we were relaxing poolside, our picky eater shocked us all. He decided to put a piece of Grampa's peperoni in his mouth! And he liked it! What!?! We were all in shock, as you can tell from Grammie's face! Haha!

Best part, after each piece he'd run over to Sara, stick out his tongue, and lick her shirt as if he was trying to rub the hot off of it! Classic stuff!!!

Each and every second, of each and every day of our stay at Grammie and Grampa's was an absolute blast! Our days of relaxing by the pool with Sara playing with her toy and listening to Eric read us Big Hungry Bear is what it's all about! Thank you for everything Grammie and Grampa! And to Auntie for going out of her way to surprise us with a visit! We love and miss you all!!!
