One of the things we love about being in NY, it's close to family in MA!!! We try to take advantage of the fact that we live so close and visit often!
In January, Sara and I got to help Great Uncle John celebrate his birthday!!! Not only did we have a blast with everyone, but we got to eat the most delicious cake in the world! No one, and I repeat, no one has cake that compares to an Elm Street Bakery cake! YUM! YUM! YUM! (Mommy says it's tied with the place she got her wedding cake at...I guess I'll have to trust her on that one!)

Afterward, we had a great time watching the playoffs! Great time for the fact that we got to spend time together, not so great time due to the Patriots...losin...I dare not say as to not upset my loved ones. It rhymes with snoozing!

Last weekend was the famous Piazza Winter BBQ so we headed back to MA. Not to mention, it was a three day weekend! Yeah!
They don't call it the winter BBQ for nothing! It was FREEZING! The wind was the most painful of all. Walking from the car to the BBQ, I was so cold I would say..."I co".."I col".."I cold". I couldn't even get out what I was wanting to say I was so cold! However, it was well worth it! I got to see so many old friends, and Sara got to meet so many new ones!!!
Thankfully the next day was wind free! So we all headed outside and played in all the fresh snow that fell that morning!

Here I am sporting my new jacket Grammie bought me! Believe it or not, my zipper broke at the BBQ so I couldn't even zip up on our walk back to the car! Thank You Grammie!!!
Another great two weekends with family! Just like Elm Street cake...there's nothing better!
