Happy 2nd Birthday Eric!!!

Eric, Daddy and I find it hard to believe you are already 2 years old! Then again, we can't believe you are only 2 years old because we can't remember what life was like before we were blessed with you! You, and Sara, are our everything!!!

To jump!
To swing from things! From the bars at the park, to the hand rails in the elevator...you swing away!
Your Wheels On The Bus CD! You make Daddy, Sara, and me listen to it every time we are in the car! (Thankfully we like it!)
"Big Truck!" Lately you've really been into trucks! We recently drove to Boston and the entire car ride you named all the trucks that drove by...Red Truck!, Blue Truck!, Big Truck!
Going for strolls in your "ride" a.k.a. your stroller.
Taking out the garbage with Mommy and Daddy! Every time we take it out, we give you a little something to hold and you carry it all the way down the hall with you! It's very cute, especially when it's something as big as you!
To stick out your tongue when you are concentrating!
To watch videos of yourself that Daddy and I took on our cell phone! You crack up at yourself. It's the funniest thing to watch!
To laugh and play! You are the happiest kid we know! And I'm not just saying that because I'm your Mommy! You bring a smile to everyone you meet! You are constantly laughing, playing, and striking up friendly conversations with everyone! You love life and you rub it off on everyone around you!
You love, love, love your blueberry muffins from Dunkin Donuts! You get SO excited when we tell you you are getting your muffin treat! And once it's on your plate, you hover your hands above it and say "No Touch!" And you eat each and every crumb!!! Here's what happened when you decided one day to share a piece of it with Mommy (that never happens), and she accidentally dropped it!

You Don't Really Love...
You don't really like getting your diaper changed. Come to think of it, I think the only time you enjoyed it was when you were a newborn and couldn't run away, or else you would have!
You don't really like trying new foods.
You don't really like water, you WAY prefer your Milk!
You Are Obsessed With...
Your baby sister Sara! You are head over heals for her! She is your Blue Berry muffin times 100!!! You run into every room looking for her! If she cries, you drop everything you are doing and go running over to her! When someone from the apartment complex ask you a question, no matter what they ask you point to Sara and say, Baby Da-Da! You love to show her off!
Today, when I dropped you off at day care to have your friends sing happy birthday to you, baby Sara was in her car seat and was on the ground. All your friends came over to look at her (as they always do) You were SO excited to show her off! You kept rubbing the top of her head so gently (which is not always the case. At times you are a bit rough with how excited you are to see her) Well, one of your friends came over (it was a boy) to touch the top of her head and you instantly paniced and said "No!...No!" We all laughed at how adorable you were...and the fact that Sara is never going to be allowed to have a boyfriend with big brother around! hahahaha!!!

You crack us up in everything you do. You amaze us each and every day. And I'm not sure how it's possible, but you make us fall more and more in love with you each day that passes!

Happy Birthday Eric!! What a big, handsome boy you are. And what a great big brother you are too!!!!! (Jen and Paul...I am quickly learning how ridiculously fast this all goes by!) That video was so so funny...and I understand why Eric does not want to share his muffin with you...look how careless you were with it. HAHAHAHA!!! =)
