You may ask yourself why this is called "part one". Well, let's just say it's a good thing I am writing this and not my Mommy. You see, if Mommy were to be writing it, she'd put a few words in here that might not be age appropriate for my blog. Reason being, the rest of the pictures to this post are on her computer that decided it didn't want to start the other day. She isn't quite sure if they can be recovered yet, but in the meantime, here is what she had started before the warning "no drives can be found" showed up on her monitor!!!
Dream Come True...that's exactly what this visit was. On July 15-19th we had some very special visitors come stay with us. My Uncle Paul, Auntie Lisa, and COUSIN LAUREN!!! Mommy couldn't have possibly been any more excited to have her brother and sister visit her!!! Not to mention...her and my Daddy have been waiting a good 5 years for Lauren to visit NY and it finally happened!!!

What's the first thing you do when you come visit Auntie Jen and Uncle...show off your dance moves! And that's exactly what she did!!! Let's just say the girl hasn't lost her moves!!!

We had so much fun wrestling on the floor together...

But I got a bit tired and had to take a rest right on my Uncle Paul's face!
We had so many hugs to give!

It's amazing how much fun you can have just hanging out with family! Sitting back, eating pizza, laughing, and enjoying every second of being with one another! Cousin Lauren made a game out of taking my paci from me! This just proves she can make anything fun because laughing isn't something I usually do when Mommy and Daddy try that and I'm not in the mood to give it up!

The next morning we got up bright and early and started back where we left off...playing!!! Uncle Paul headed out early to meet up with some friends he hasn't seen in a while, and once 9 o'clock rolled around, Mommy and everyone brought me to school! They had a big day planned in the city for Cousin Lauren. They were off to the American Girl store and Toys R Us!

Mommy says Cousin Lauren had a blast on her very first train ride! She also got to experience missing the express by 1 short minute. Actually, it was even less than that because they saw it pull away right in front of them! However, it worked out better because the local was longer and Lauren loved being on the train! Auntie Lisa, not so much. I sure hope Mommy, Grandma, Uncle Paul, and Auntie Lisa's car sickness doesn't pass down to me!

Yeah! Grand Central!

And what's the first thing you do when you get there...look for rats of course!!!

Ahhhh...much cleaner in here! And hopefully rat free!

Taxi!!!

I'm here! I'm here! I'm finally here! Cousin Lauren was SOOOOOOOOOO excited to finally be at the American Doll store! She had been giving pep talks to her little girl Mia for quite some time now. You see, she was going to get her ears pierced, so cousin Lauren spent weeks preparing her...letting her know it was going to be a quick pinch!

What a difference!!! Every girl needs a good makeover every now and then!

Afterward, we went upstairs and had lunch! It was so cute! They had a little chair for Mia to sit in so she was right there at the table with us!!!

Yet again, the entire time was filled with laughs! They had little conversation pieces and we went around the table answering the questions. We'll never forget Auntie Lisa's famous "Lauren, hold on. Let me explain it in a way that makes more sense...What is your number one favorite thing to do that doesn't cost money" Repeating it exactly the way it was written on the card! Good times!!!!

There are many, many, many, more good times to come. Once Mommy get her photos back :(
Here's a drawing Lauren gave us that she drew on the plane. It reads...The day is here that you have been dreaming of. All I have to say is, Lauren, you couldn't be more right. This was a dream come true for us! Thank you!

I'm a little bit in love with your family.
I can not believe they were here and I didn't get to see them Maybe they should have booked the wrong flight and stayed a little longer! ;)
