26 Weeks!!!

I'm 6 1/2 months! And the best news, Sara is doing great! At our last Dr. appointment she was right on track. She was just about 2 lbs and everything else is looking great! It's always music to our ears when we hear things are going well!

Thankfully she gives me signs every day that all is well! She has been moving like crazy lately! Her movements are starting to resemble those I remember of Eric's! Just today, I was laying on the couch and my entire stomach was bouncing around! Paul's jaw dropped straight to the ground when he saw it! Sara, I love each and every one of your kicks, especially when they are big enough for Daddy to experience (which is just about every time now) I also love when you keep me company in my boring work meetings. I love knowing you too are bored, and we are just hanging out together! But I especially love knowing it means you are doing OK in there!

Overall I'm feeling pretty good. I live off of Tums. At times it burns so bad my ears actually hurt. No joke! And don't ask me how, but one night I actually allowed myself to run out of them! Let's just say I now have enough to last a lifetime! I remember having the same thing with Eric, however, this time around it doesn't need to be night time for it it come. I can drink a glass of water during the day and the burn begins : (

My walk is also starting to slow down. I took out the garbage last night and told the poor lady walking behind me that she should just go around me. Sure enough, she didn't wait two seconds to say OK! hahahaha!

When going to title this blog, I was curious what I named the posts when I was carrying Eric. So I went back to an older post and sure enough the first one I landed on was called 25 weeks. I thought it was funny, being it's so close to where I am with Sara right now, so I decided to read it. I guess I should have started this by saying I've been a wee bit on the "emotional" side lately. Easy to get mad, easy to get sad. Anyway, I was reading along and it was talking about the fact that we just picked out Eric's furniture and I left crying hysterically because I couldn't pick out a fabric. And I was crying hysterically because Paul had to make a U-Turn. I found it so crazy that the timing of the two mood swings were right on track with one another, so what did I decide to do, tell Paul. It went a bit like this...

Me: Paul, you want to know what's crazy. I just found a post where I was 25 weeks pregnant with Eric and it was talking about the fact that I had been an emotional wreck the past three days.
Paul: Really. That's funny because lately I can tell...
Me: Shooting him an evil eye as if he shouldn't say another word...

Paul: Never mind.

Sooo, now that I think about it, I guess I did set him up with that one! :)

Sara, your Daddy, brother and I couldn't be more excited to meet you!!! You are already loved more than you can know!!! You keep healthy, and we'll see you soon!!! We love you! Love Mommy, Daddy, Eric!
