This past week was a very busy one for me!
Mommy and Daddy believe I am in the early stages of teething! For the past couple of days you'll find me either sucking on my fingers, or sticking my tongue out at you!!!
As if that wasn't big enough, I've learned how to roll from my tummy to my back!!! Ever since I've been born I've hated tummy time! I won't last but two minutes before I let out a cry for Mommy or Daddy to come save me! Well, the other night they decided to give me tummy time yet again. This time I had a little more fun with it. I used my arms (for the very first time) and I balanced on my belly (with my arms and legs slightly in the air). Mommy and Daddy couldn't believe their eyes!
The next day (March 19, 2009) Mommy came to spend time with me on her lunch break. (Daddy had a meeting so he couldn't' make it.) Once again, Mommy decided to give me belly time. This time, I took it a step further and rolled over for the very first time!!! Mommy and my teacher both screamed at the same time! They were so excited! And I must admit...I was pretty proud of myself!
That night Mommy tried to get me to do it again for Daddy to see but I was way too tired! That didn't stop them from trying the next day, and the next. Finally I decided I would give it another try and show Daddy my new trick! He was so excited!
Mommy and Daddy tell me they are very proud of my accomplishments! Every week I am surprising them with something new that I've learned! Hmmm...I wonder what I should try next week! Maybe I should roll from my back to my belly!
