Our dear friends Mike and Cristina are now blessed with a little boy, Mike Jr.!!!!!!
Anytime I hear that any of our friends are expecting/had a baby it's always very special!!! This one however, has a special place in my heart.
Shortly after Mike and Cristina married, Paul got a phone call that his great friend Mike from high school had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. Turned out that seizure was due to a golf ball size tumor on his brain. With Cristina by his side, Mike went through lots of chemo treatments. Once they had completed all treatments they ran further tests and reported VERY GOOD NEWS! The chemo had worked very well on him and the tumor was smaller than Dr.'s were ever expecting!!!
To look back at everything they have been through...to now knowing they are blessed with a healthy little Mike Jr. in their arms...is just so inspiring to me!!! I just had to put this post out to not only thank Mike for being so strong...but to CONGRATULATE them on their little miracle!!!
