My First Christmas Party!!!

This past Wednesday (December 10, 2008) I had my first Christmas party with all my friends!!! I had a blast and can't wait to play with them again!!!

My Mommy and Daddy's friends Heather and Steph didn't get to meet me in the hospital, and since Mommy and Daddy didn't bring me out until I was 4 weeks old, this was my very first time meeting them!!! Boy were they nice!!!



Not only were Mommy and Daddy's friends nice...but my firends were really nice as well!!!

Taryn Kathleen Downs!!! I...I...mean Bruno!!! That nice lady next to her is her Mommy Ally. She was the very first person to see me at the hospital!!! Mommy is VERY UPSET that she doesn't have a single picture of her holding me :( But she's VERY EXCITED she has video of it!!! (Mommy can't wait to show us this video once we are older!!!)

You Did It!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Daddy, Nick, Matt, Gwynne, and Scott!!! Yesterday (December 9, 2008) I was in the middle of dreaming of milk when I heard my Mommy scream on the top of her lungs! I was startled out of my sleep to find her jumping around the family room as she was on the phone with my Daddy!

You see, my Daddy and his great friend Nick, as did Matt, Gwynne and Scott, and a bunch of other very talented Blue Skyers, worked very hard on pitching an idea to BlueSky for their annual Pitch Fest! Well, they announced the winners yesterday and said that my Daddy's and Nick's pitch, as well as Matt, Gwynne, and Scott's pitch WON!!!

In my opinion my Daddy has always been a winner! I may only be five weeks old but I've never met someone who puts their heart and soul into something the way he does! He deserves every once of this win! Mommy and I are VERY proud of him! In so many ways do I wish to be like him when I am older. He is already someone I look up to!!! Congratulations Daddy!!!

And a HUGE congratulations to Nick, Matt, Gwynne, and Scott as well!!!

The second Mommy got off the phone she was sure to take a picture of me to always remember exactly what I was doing when she found out Daddy won! (And according to my outfit, she will always remember what she was doing when he called...laundry!!!)

Once I woke up, and Mommy was changing my diaper, I decided to smile for her!!! My very first time smiling was just the day before but she wasn't able to get it on camera...but it sure did melt her heart!!! Yesterday I decided to do it again to show everyone just how proud of them I was/am!!!

My Very First (And Second) Christmas Tree!!!

This past Saturday (December 6, 2008) my Daddy, Mommy, and I went out to get my very first Christmas tree!!!



There were so many to choose from! But after a lot of help from Daddy (they were too heavy for me to lift) we found one that was perfect for me!!!



After we found the most perfect tree for me, we decide to take pictures together!!!



In the middle of our family picture taking, Mommy noticed something!



A very nice family started looking at my very first Christmas tree! They had no idea we had set it aside... and they too fell in love with it! Bye, bye, my very first Christmas tree!!! It was great knowing you for the two minutes we got to be together!!! Mommy and Daddy couldn't stop laughing!!!



So, it was off to find my very second Christmas tree! Thankfully Daddy was a huge help again and we were able to find another one that was perfect for me! (However, Daddy still loved the first one more!)



On Sunday we woke up to it snowing very lightly outside!!! We spent the entire day together listening to Christmas music and decorating my very second Christmas tree!!! Oh, and Mommy and Daddy just couldn't resist dressing me in a Santa hat and taking pictures for their Christmas card!







Mommy and Daddy always say things happen for a reason! Like me, they love my very second Christmas tree! But they especially love the gift that is under it!!!

Someone In Ireland Loves Me!!!

A couple days ago I received a very special gift in the mail...it was all the way from IRELAND!!! My Uncle Joe (one of my Daddy's best friends) is living there for the year and surprised me with these two amazing gifts!!! THANKS SO MUCH UNCLE JOE!!! I can't wait for you to come back home so I can finally meet you!!! I sure know my Mommy and Daddy miss you!!! We love you!!!

(Hopefully you are out of the pub long enough to see these pictures of me!!! hehehe!)

A lot of people were wondering if I looked more like my Mommy or Daddy. Well, Mommy loved how a few of her friends did a comparison, so she decided to do the same thing! Thanks for the idea everyone...and hopefully this makes it a little easier for you to decide who I look more like!!!

Oh...and my Mommy would like you to try and ignore the lovely spike they put in her hair!

1 month old!!!

Today I am 1 month old!!!

Where I am at:

-I still eat every 3 hours! However, after my 11 o'clock night feeding I've added an hour onto my sleep before I feed again!

-I make such good eye contact now! My Daddy walked by me the other night I followed him the entire way! And my Mommy noticed that when I am fussing and she talks to me, I now calm down and stare at her!

-I'm still doing a great job at holding my neck up and pushing off with my legs. Daddy likes to stand me up on his lap for exercise. After 5-10 seconds I bend my legs again and want to sit again, however, the other night as I was standing my Daddy was talking and I turned my head all the way from left to right (while holding it up) in order to see him!

-In the past week (two of the days) I've decided to try something new. I decided I wanted to cry all day. Mommy had (and still has) no idea why this is. There are only two things that got me to stop.

1) Mommy or Daddy holding me! Every time my Mommy would try to put me down I would scream! Oh...and I've learned how to scream a lot louder over the past month!
2) If I had a pacifier in my mouth. Mommy really didn't want to give me one all day...but it's very hard to wash a bottle and hold me at the same time!

They are thinking it was gas because I didn't really burp during any of my night feedings. Or they are thinking I simply just like to be cuddled up again them rather than sitting in a swing all by myself. They like to think it's the second one, that way they know I'm not in any pain!

-I've already outgrown a lot of my cloths!!! Daddy just went to the store yesterday and bought me 4 new pairs of PJ's. I could no longer fully extend my legs in my old ones!

-In 6 days I go back to the Dr. to see how much I have grown! Mommy and Daddy sure are excited to find out my weight/height!

Ok...I'm off to go work on my smile now! I smile a lot after my feeding and it melts my Mommy and Daddy's hearts. Now they can't wait for it to be at them...off to practicing I go!!!
